Fantasy Premier League 22/23

Captaining him? If fit, he looks like the best choice. Ideally I'd like to go with Mac Allister but it's tough to predict what system they play and who ends up with the points.

Will be picking one of my mids yeah so either him, Mac Allister, March or Maddison. I quite fancy a punt on the latter actually coming off his England debut. Palace are hot garbage and a home derby against Villa could have goals in it.

I cannot really bring myself to trust that human ballsack of a football manager and what his team does. It really took me a lot of thought to even buy Maddison. And he can end up getting booked or randomly injured, so it's tough to rely on him with captaincy on such a huge GW. I was ok to experiment with Toney last GW but need to get this one spot on.

Not really looking anywhere outside United and Brighton as of now.

I'm starting to follow my gut more. Was March 2 weeks ago (got unlucky), Saka last week and this week it's telling me Maddison.

Think March (or any BHA mid that GW) and Saka last GW were pretty strong options in general, Maddison is a bit more out there. I generally opt for the better team in such cases, and Leicester have looked shit for ages. Obviously the talisman theory holds true for Maddison.

Going with the gut would be Mac Allister for me. Just need to listen to what they say about his travel and fatigue but that Bournemouth game is there for the taking. Second worst defense behind Forest over last 6 GWs, conceding both shit ton of xG as well as goals.

Having said that Villa defense has been quite poor as well so Maddison is a strong choice as well. And I still think we are ignoring Rashford for the sake of being different, most in form player, Brentford at OT, midfielder playing up front, likely to be well rested as well.

I'll go Rashford captain. He's rested and ready for 2 x 90. MacAllister played against Curacao in Uruguay today, but he's my VC.

Is that their last game? Decent amount of gap before the PL game then no? I really doubt he gets dropped, given how he's been playing for them. But yeah, Rashford being an out and out attacker is definitely a better option. If I do end up getting Bruno he'd be a good shout as well being on pens as well. Depends on how confident we are on that Newcastle away game, think that will be a very dirty match. And they'd be up for it at home after losing in the cup final. It's why I'm interested in Isak, he was jumping around with their fans last time around, seems to be like someone who'd wanna show up in a game like this.

Long flight back + recovery and Brighton playing Brentford in a very highly anticipated game, he might start but might not.

Going for a benchboost this week with the following crew:

Kepa, Steele
Trippier, Chilwell, Estupinan, Mee, Mings
Salah, Mitoma, Bruno, Rashford, Saka
Haaland, Watkins, Isak

Who do we cap?

After playing around I might just do a -4 for Kepa and Shaw. Getting Bruno in is difficult with a strong bench but I’ll be able to work him in 2 weeks for free. I’d need a -12 for Bruno I think because of cost.
Yeah defo don’t take a -12, Shaw and Kepa are good options. I’m just fuming I have to waste a transfer because Ward finally got dropped.

Yeah think that’s the best way.

I’m also down a free transfer because of Almiron being out last minute. I brought him on the Friday after waiting patiently (which I rarely do) to find out 2 hours later he was out.

I am going to do a -8 for Tark/Dawson/Saka to Mings/Moreno/Bruno. Well aware that the former could end up scoring more, but would rather have the Villa boys double and their home fixture to Forest next GW, as well as Bruno’s next couple

Now have 6 outfield starters blanking in 32, so will remove a few Brighton only to put them back after 32. A bit of a disaster and a real lesson on saving chips to the end.

Playing with 9/10 isn’t the end of the world in 32, it’s how it restricts your other transfers that is the real issue.

Anyone got any idea if ward will start I'm net for Leicester after missing the last game? Planning to bench boost, don't have any free transfers left but will take a hit if he is likely out of the team

I have done Odegaard to Bruno.

Currently weighing up Zinchenko to Shaw for a minus 4. He has the extra fixture this week and also has more doubles to come so it probably will be worth it.

Bench boost definitely being played too. Hope to have 13 DGW players as a minimum plus Saka n Kane.

I want Bruno in for Martinelli but I wouldn't be able to afford Watkins/Toney to Haaland next GW. Right pisser. Might be worth a minus 4.

I was fully committed to a WC this GW but opened the app again today after 10 days and saw that I have 7 DGW players with only Kane, White, Saka and Martinelli with a single GW... No Haaland though.

Tempted to keep it this way and save my WC for the upcoming weeks...

DGW players are Kepa, TAA, Mee, Trippier, Rashord, Toney and Felix.

So with Cash out, who’s the DGW defender I should look at? Money not being a problem.
I already have Henry, Trippier, Chilwell and Estupinian.

I’ve seen some fpl pages going for Aguerd. West ham haven’t looked good defensively and have two home games against Southampton and Newcastle. Are they purely selecting him because west ham have doubles in 29 and 34 and they have a game in 32

I’m leaning for TAA or Van Dijk but they have a torrid first 3 fixtures against city, chelsea and arsenal. But these are the games these cnuts surprise with a performance.

Or should I go tried and tested Shaw but without casemiro I don’t know. But he’s attacking output is always to rely on

Shaw. Without doubt.

Who are people getting rid of next week to get Haaland back in? I can't decide between Toney and Watkins...

Toney. He's a booking away from missing two games.

Yeah definitely Toney for me. In half a mind to bin him this week tbh but he's a handy placeholder now if Haaland is out this weekend.

My mini league rival is gonna be disgusted with my transfers this week. He's 9 points behind and owns the trio of DDG, Shaw and Rashford. When I being the former 2 in he'll just think I'm copying him.

He's got Saliba, Almiron and Ward to deal with if he's thinking about BB.

Who knows. Feels wrong to use a transfer on a keeper but given there’s two games, I don’t think it’s worth keeping him. It’s not like it was an injury that kept him out last game.

Ok who do you think will outscore Gabriel over the coming fixtures? Bear in mind I will already have Trippier, Shaw, Chilwell and Estupian.
Oh I was specifically talking about Shaw but if you have those defenders... Yeah just leave him in that case.

Haaland's a doubt? But he plays doesn't he? Like in reality?
This is what I'm wondering. If he plays I'd keep him to avoid losing the value I've got sunk in him as ill need to get him back at some point. Tempted by a bench boost this week too. I have two goons, Kane and haaland on SGWs but all have fairly nice fixtures.

Salah with their double? Or too expensive, two awkward aways and causes problems getting Haaland back in?
