I like this kind of thinking! I changed captain last night when a City fan friend said he wont be playing tomorrow…but I didnt tell any of the players in my league, those that have him have him as captain still.

I dare say for any even remotely serious players in your league they'll have seen the headlines saying he was massively doubtful.

Foden being benched is the biggest problem for a lot of people. Luckily I was on twitter just before the deadline and transferred him out just in time. Watch him come on and score though.

I went Rashford due to Arsenal having Chelsea away next weekend and they have looked a little off form of late too.
Also frees up more cash to improve elsewhere in next two weeks.
I've had Rashy for quite a while. He's had one huge haul, and always looks on the verge of one.
Rashy, then Arsenal winger double up, and Zaha.
Should be 4 decent choices. Roll on 10 points combined!
May just move Saka back to Foden next week.

Then over the world cup, can decide whether to get back on TAA/James, and one of Salah/KDB or not.

Yeah that's not a bad plan tbf. I have kept Bowen (my autosub this week for Haaland) so he will probably get the last two games before WC as he's at home in both. If I sell him he's going to punish me for sure.

Happy with the Martinelli/Saka angle for a potential goal fest for Arsenal, instead of Jesus. Was hard to see the sense in selling any of Kane, Nunez and especially Haaland, having had him early on, and having a decent wad to lose in him. Only to then have to bring him back in!

I think he just guessed the Alien wouldnt be playing. Its funny how no one else changed him as captain even after he was taken off during midweek. Hopefully it falls right for me

I made KDB my vc just in case he wasn't playing. Looking like a good decision so far.

After last weeks great GW, this one is going to quickly bring me crashing back down to Earth. Can already see its going to be awful
