Fantasy Premier League 21/22

So Cancelo, Robertson, Weghorst in for TAA, Saiss and Jimenez?

Sets me up well, but not sure Cancelo and Robertson are worth it playing each other.

On the other hand players like Luke Shaw that I would like are not nailed and Reece James is too risky.
 
Need HELP. Last time out was an utter disaster because I forgot about it and hardly anyone played. Costly mistake.. 9 points

I am no expert but would be tempted to do
TAA - Coutinho - Broja to Robertson - Havertz - Weghorst for the -4.

Gives you a quality defence, a potential Chelsea number 9 in midfield and the quantity of games that Weghorst will play will be the best value at that price point (Toney is in great form too if you don’t fancy Burnley)
 
So is TAA a sell this week?
 
So I'm thinking Son > Salah and Ramsey > Gordon (-4) and play

Ramsdale (Foster)
TAA Cancelo Saiss (Cash) (Amartey)
Gordon Salah Kulu Saka (Maddison)
Kane Weggy Watkins

Certainly don't want any more Everton or Burnley players but I'd kept Weggy anyway and Gordon seems as good as a 5th place mid as anyone. Only question is whether to start Maddison or Watkins. Think maybe Watkins has some confidence after the goal in midweek.

Any news on Ramsdale?
 
Ramsdale is a bit of an annoying one. I wanted to downgrade to a 4 million second keeper on my wildcard now that bench boost is out the way.
 
So is Holgate nailed?

Some decent double gameweeks and really cheap?

Dan Burn better?

Need to bring in a cheap defender if I want Cancelo if I keep TAA.

True but everyone else is pants also and he’s on a double, maybe Watkins if not him, scored for England got his tail up.
 
Ok Salah and Gordon in for me and a plan formulating.

I'll wait to see what my rival does with his final chip (WC) this week but I think holding the FH as long as possible could pay dividends. I like the idea of Kulu, Cash + Watkins > Sancho, Targett and Broja for GW33 giving me this team on paper (doublers in bold). 7 doublers there and all the most dangerous players with a decent sgw.

+ 2m ITB and 2 free transfers.

Going in with BB in 33 and FH in 36, so need to get my team up with the 33 DGWs.

A)
Thomas/Dalot to James and bank the 2nd FT. (This means far too much money in defense and I'm blocked out of a United attacker apart from doing Salah/Kane to Bruno/Ron which I dont wanna)

B)
Coutinho to Sancho and back the 2nd FT (then move Thomas and Dalot to two NEW defenders who I can keep on bench after BB33 and Raph to Martinelli before 33 so no hits)

C)
TAA, Coutinho, Raphinha to James, Bruno and Martinelli for -4 (Loses TAA but gets Bruno who can be swapped for KDB in 34)

D)
Thomas/Dalot, Coutinho, Raphinha to Laporte, Sancho, Martinelli (keeps TAA but cant get KDB in 34 but can get Foden etc)

Basically who do we need from United? I'm feeling Bruno but that means getting rid of TAA. Alternative being keep TAA and cover United with Sancho.

Any other moves? @Dirty Schwein @Sandikan @CassiusClaymore @BeforeKeanetherewasRobson and other great gents of FPL

I’m on a wildcard and I’ve mostly worked it all out, but I’m down to choosing between a combination of Sancho + Saka OR Son + Martinelli/Odegaard

Not sure if Sancho is too much of a punt, and at the same time not feeling too great about taking Saka out. Plus is Martinelli actually nailed on?

I think whether you have Kane or not should decide that for you. If so I'd prefer Saka and Sancho.

Better not be any late injury news for my lot on top of doubts to Ramsdale and Trent. I can live with that for a week.

I would want one of Sancho or Bruno for the United double.

I'm going to get both on FH.

But tbh, I haven't looked at it for so long and feel happier. I might stop... Don't need the stress right now haha

Yeah it's been nice hasn't it. Seriously consindering making this my last season for a while as well although my arm will be twisted nearer the time I'm sure.

Yeah. I have a lot going on in my life at the moment so not sure I care whether Weigy is worth it or if Ramsdale is out :lol:
 
I have Ramsdale/Dubravka and TAA, so waiting for more news before making any transfers.

I suspect my transfer will be solving one of those problems though. Currently have:

Ramsdale/Dubravka
TAA/Doherty/Tierney/Rudiger
Salah/Saka/Kulu/Mount/Gordon
Kane

(Broja/Schar/Toney)

So ultimately I can call on the bench, but do feel like I really need one of Robbo, James or Cancelo if TAA is out.
 
So next year will have 9 man bench and 5 subs. I guess going all in on the first team and cheapest bench fodder will be the meta again.
 
Weghorst Pope and Sancho in for Toney Ramsdale and Coutinho. Worth a-8? Or stick to Weghorst and Sancho and hope Ramsdale recovers?
 
Everton have a double, and a couple of games to reschedule.

Richarlison or DCL?

Former doesn't score many, latter barely lasts an hour in 1 game, let alone 2 back to back over 3 days!
