Salah tc vs Southampton?
That’s what I’m thinking, was eyeing up Isak and that Newcastle double but with this latest injury I’m not sure it’s worth the gamble waiting, especially when you’re passing up on Salah at home to Southampton.
Be funny if he’s rested, given opponent and PSG games.
I was thinking this also and contemplating (c) on Mateta or Palmer but Slot never rests him wich is crazy.
After tonight (though I thought it was a few games ago), league is done. Other than goal stats, nothing to play him v Southampton for. Should comfortably win, fresh for PSG and avoids risk of an injury
He is chasing records. I really doubt he will be benched. When was the last time that happened?

Can someone please help me understand how auto subs work as this has happened a few times.
I had one player not play, Isak. I had a striker on bench who scored 6 and a midfielder who scored 7.
Yet it subbed in a defender who scored......1
It always seems to do this, sub in the lowest scoring sub regardless of position.

Are you sure the defender wasn’t your first defender, i.e. the first one on the board to be subbed in.
It doesn’t necessarily change a striker for a striker
