Fantasy Premier League 2024/25

I'm away this weekend so will probably miss the deadline if I don't do anything now. Feck it, Emery in for Slot, I can see Villa nicking a draw or win at Villa park.

They should beat Ipswich at home, though I actually don't have a great deal of confidence in them for that.

This is just mental. Crack on though.

Absolute carnage at the end there!! What a finish and just about deserved in the end! Everton really are short of quality but they more than made up for that with passion and endeavour which as a Moyes owner, is exactly what I was hoping for!!

Do you reckon? Beat Ipswich at home and draw at home against Liverpool surely isn't too far fetched for Villa

Maybe mental is a bit ott but Liverpool will batter Wolves and then will be heavy favourites against Villa. It's a gamble and it costs you a transfer.

As a Salah TC though I'll probably activate it on Emery this week myself.

I think Emery is the play if you're jumping on AM now or have Moyes.

I wouldn't take a transfer to move Slot out though, especially as I would still want a triple up on Liverpool for the double.

So the FPL site says if a manager gets sacked, then anyone who played AM chip gets the team's point till 3 weeks are done.

Does that hold true for suspensions?

Contemplating it for sure. Will there be a better opportunity to use it in future or not really?

Yeah same. Might get complicated saving it too long with other chips you want to use like bb and fh especially if you plan on navigating the small blank in 29 without using any (as I currently do).

It does lock you out for 3 weeks when activated which is why I'm thinking get it done now on Emery as I already own the best 3 Liverpool players plus Rogers. I don't have to change my transfer plans which is bringing in a Bournemouth attacker and I don't have the headache of an extra bgw player to bin off.

I think I'd leave it on him for 25 & 26 as all home fixtures with 1 (and possibly 2) chance/s of a table bonus and then switch in 27 and hunt the table bonus on another team. Could be some decent chances looking at the fixtures as well.

That last gasp goal really punished us having Slot AM but glad his red card doesn’t impact the future GWs. Sticking with him along with Salah and TAA and have Rogers for the double. Was tempted to bring Watkins but with the attacking options Villa has and his injury, he will surely be rotated against Ipswich to keep him fresh for pool game. Any other attackers to bring as I want to ship out KDB for Kluivert and then will have around 8.9m to bring in an attacker. I already have Isak and Wood.

Edit: Considering Everton will now have fixture in GW29, I am contemplating removing Isak and keeping Ndiaye. Does that makes sense. Kind of want to build up to that GW29 without having to use my FH. Can get Kluivert, Haaland and Trossard for KDB, Isak and Palmer. Risky moves?

Injuries hitting my team hard. With Jackson out til April am thinking swaping him from Watkins, but how much will Watkins play in Villa's double match week?

Ndiaye went off injured last night mate.

Lost points with that late Pool goal but for bigger picture reasons happy enough with that.
Not that anyone thinks Arsenal can put enough results in. Especially with no strike force.
Hopefully Saka is back soon.
