Fantasy Premier League 2024/25

I’ve committed now to cheap defenders as there is no guarantee of clean sheets and so they become pleasant surprises while attacking returns from better mids and fwds appears to be more fruitful.

Liverpool is the only solid defence in the league (likely due to no key injury’s so far) so I’d only consider investing in Van Dijk.

The rest I think the £1.5m odd saved from Gabriel or the £2.5m saved from Trent going into better mids or fwds is too tempting.

Haaland + Jackson/Solanke + fodder

Haaland + 2 of Wissa/Raul/Wood/Welbeck/Cunha more likely to return than defenders every other week.

I’m going Haaland and double

Just moved away from Haaland this week but might have a long term route back to him if really going cheap elsewhere, would probably take a long time though and by then 2nd wilcard wouldn't be far off.

Still possible for me. Alternatively it's going with some insane midfield Salah, Saka, Son and Palmer + 1 other.

Not a bad week, probably 52 points after factoring in bonus points. Have 3 to go tomorrow (Jackson, Palmer, Davis).

Haven't really focused on changing captains every gameweek so picking Haaland over Salah must've cost me like 50 points over the past month

Was planning on selling Trent this week anyway to fund Palmer, i would get rid even if fit, he's playing more as a build up player rather than a final third creator, he's also sharing the corners and free kicks. 7 million is too much to just for clean sheet returns .

Best day in a long while. Only TAA failing.

Fabianski 8
TAA 1
Konate 6
Mbeumo 5
Cunha 12
Salah (c) 28

Benched Rogers 1, Lewis 0

Yeah similar. Made the right decision in benching Henderson for Fabianski and was initially thinking of captaining Mbuemo.

I just don’t think it’s worth moving off Haaland for me. I’ll never build up enough free transfers to move him out and make the aggregate gains in the side.

Sels Fabianski
Dalot Lewis* Ait-Nouri Mykolenko Greaves
Salah Palmer Mbeumo Semenyo Rogers*
Haaland Cunha Wheatley*

The three in bold will be moved out either this week or 2 this week and one next.

So potentially -4 Wheatley and Lewis.

Then freebie Rogers.

I think if you can get to Salah, Palmer, Saka, Son + Mbeumo with something like Jackson, Solanke + Welbeck/Wood/Wissa etc. you’ve definitely spread the risk around the best possible options.

So for me it comes down to:

Kerkez/Hall (differentials in my mini league)
+ Raul/Wissa (differentials in my mini league)

Leaning Hall + Wissa but might just do Wissa.

Salah went from 12.5 to 12.8 to begin the season. Then for some reason went down to 12.6 again, now back up to 12.8 and hopefully once the break is over he will be up to 13.0.

Glad I moved for him at £12.7m.

I think over the course of the season Salah + Haaland owners will benefit most.

Salah is breaking 100points this week.

Yeah I moved for him after week 3 at 12.6. Been in my lineup since. And agreed on the Haaland bit as well. I’m not taking him not. So him and Salah are essential. Also with Palmers fixtures over the next few weeks he is absolutely essential as well.

Quite a number of the popular players returned but the average score in 29?

Finally had a good week (so far anyway), 71 with Bruno left to play.

Fabianski was only ever meant to be a cheap bench fodder but his starts recently gave me the edge this week.

Fabianski, Haaand, Salah, Cunha, Evanilson, Mbeumo.
Only Lewis blanking but bench have all had 1 points so far so barely a bad decision.

Johnson, Fernandes, Gabriel and Aina to go.
66 points.

64 points with Porro, Mazraoui, Palmer, Saka and Garnacho left to play. Really need a monster haul this week after a disaster week last week.

Very happy with yesterday and green arrows up to 67k OR, but it will be very difficult to defend the rank with no United players bar Maz. Seems like yesterday everyone had a good score!

What’s your team value btw? I payed much less attention to it this year than normally and it’s been two-three seasons that I avoid early transfers, but still I’m at 103.4 which feels really high at this stage of the season

I’m at £101m with £2.2m in the bank

About 2m lower.
What's your points count?

Good to actually cheer on a united player which you have in fpl, it's been a while. Hopefully Bruno can get a few more returns.

Hopefully not an own goal

Flip sake. Looked the ideal combo at first view.
Bruno goal and assist is big so far though. Assuming they don't try and say that's not an assist?
Fpl given the goal but I suspect they will change it later.
