It all depends on how the rotation works out, in my view Chelsea should be starting him but you never know. Conte hasn't used him that much but when he has, he's delivered.

It seems Kante and Fabregas are Chelseas only two for midfielders for the opening few games as Bakayoko is out injured, so he should play, he's generally an assist machine in past seasons and he's only £7m, but now you've mentioned Willian and that's another spanner in the works :lol: I'll definitely go for one or the other though.
 
Might do this.. usually concentrate for a week or two and then forget all about it
 
Any good defenders for 5m. I have now Cedric, Trippier and Bertrand in defense but I need 0,5m for a goalkepper and need to change Trippiier and Bertrand for a cheaper version.

:lol: I only considered Willian as I was writing that post! It works quite nicely because most likely going to use a wild card around mid September and i'm a big fan of Hazard so I will swap him for Willian
 
Dilemma.

Coutinho, Alli and Lacazette

or Ozil, Willian and Kane?

Really stumped since I realized Willian is only 7 million.
 
Ozil would be the last of the £9.5m midfielders I would pick. Assuming you don't want to double up on Spurs why not Mane, Willian and Kane?

Lukaku - Chicharito - Kane

Good point. Might try it but do want to have an Arsenal player in there and from the ones affordable, Lacazette and Ozil are the sure starters... think I'll need to tinker some more.

Wouldnt have them both at the same time buddy. Big risk. Maybe replace one with a Zaha or someone like that? Hedge your bets a bit.
 
At present I've gone for:

Forster, Elliot
Luiz, Bertrand, Daniels, Evans, Hefele
Fabregas, Alli, Salah, de Bruyne, Fernandinho
Rodriguez, Lukaku, Hernandez

If I was to recommend a player, it would be Salah. I wouldn't be surprised if he ended the season as the midfielder with the most goals.
 
Made a few changes to arrive at this:

Forster
Cedric, Trippier, Blind
Salah, KdB, Eriksen, Zaha
Lukaku, Rodriguez, Benteke.

Speroni, Daniels, Carroll, Rangel.

Have already planned for the next set of transfers as well, depending on what happens in the GW1. :p

The problem I have is picking two strikers who would consistently start and be in amongst the goals.

And the budget I have is around 13.5 M - so currently sticking with Gayle and Rodriguez. (until I change my mind yet again :lol:)
 
How does my team look? I've never gotten over 2000 points at this game, so I'm pretty terrible...

Maybe I'm blind but I can't seem to see Anthony Knockaert in the Brighton squad?! Anyone else notice him missing?

Indeed. The only players from promoted teams I have a passing interest in at the minute are Ince, Ritchie and Gayle. Gayle and Ritchie have both flopped in the PL before and Ince is in a team surely destined for regular thrashings on the road to relegation.

Gayle is a nailed on starter, according to me at least, unless something changes in the coming few days.

Rodriguez is a 50-50, but I have him in the team, so can't say anything against him. :p

I like the team in general but there are some flaws like having 3 players from United and 3 from Spurs. Also I don't have any players from City and Liverpool. I thought about swapping Alli for Mane or for KDB but I am not sure about it. Also maybe Lacazette for Kane and improve midfield with extra 2m. Any help would be appreciated.

Chicharito, Pogba and Willian are the only weaknesses I see right now. We don't know whether chicharito would be starting games early in the season or whether he would be leading the attack. Willian can be a poor pick for that value if Chelsea don't hit the ground running.
