Fantasy Football 2017/18

I ended on 84 which I'm pretty happy with as a start.

Jesus, De Bruyne and Zaha were disappointing but Mkhitaryan, Lukaku and Firmino scored well, along with clean sheets across the board in defence!

Think I'll hold onto my FT for another week. The side looks well set against their opponents in week 2 and I can move money around a bit better with 2 tranfers. Might look at downgrading Valencia to Jones or Bailly and then upgrading Zaha.

Lucky... My defence let me down big time scoring a total of 2 points between them. Glad the rest of the team chipped in with 77. Brought in jones myself

Is it worth keeping Sane? He didn't impress last week. Is he going to get more game time?

That City second line of attack is going to be a nightmare in terms of guessing selections. Trying to pick 3 from all the options they have there will be very difficult.

85 points here

Regret taking Lacazette and Alli out in favour of Kane and Willian though

Heard anything interesting fact during the Spurs game today. Apparently, Harry Kane has never scored a PL goal in August. Makes his scoring heroics all the more impressive. Still, can't dream of taking the fecker out.

Yeah I looked at a lot of different options in defence but fortunately settled on Foster, Valencia, Dawson and Bertrand who scored a respectable 26 points. Those 4 have Burnely, Swansea and West Ham up next so I'll be sticking for this week at least!

60 points, Begovic, Daniels, Ritchie, Zaha, KDB and Kane all let me down and I captained KDB. Changed David Luiz for Jones so I now have 1m in the bank for next week.

Id banked on KDB as captain at last minute. Gutted as id had Lukaku as captain all week and bottle it on Friday night.

78 but lukaku got 39 of those points himself. Played my captain triple as I fancied him for a debut treble against WH

Could use some advice - need to swap out Fabregas after his red and stuck on a few options.

There's no one in the 7m price range that jumps out so thinking a swap to Mkhitaryan would be the best move - expect him to increase in price as well which is key in the early stages of the season.

What say the Caf:

A. Fabregas and De Bruyne > Salah and Mkhitaryan

B. Fabregas and Bailly > Mkhitaryan and Jones

C. Fabregas and Gabbiadini > Mkhitaryan and Mounie

I expect Mkhi, Mounie and Salah to all rise this week and there's an off chance that Gabbiadini drops (though personally my instinct is to stick with Gabbi given Saints fixtures). De Bruyne is absolute quality but he seems to be playing slightly deeper in Pep's 3-5-2 and if he blanks again he's another who will tank in value.

Help me you fecks

Help me you fecks

They all look decent options to me!

With Jones I just can't shake the worry that he'd break both his legs in a freak shoelace tying accident the day after I brought him in. Salah is a good looking option but De Bruyne is likely to come good and is probably the most nailed on starter of all Citys attackers.

Reckon I'd probably go with the last option. Gabbiadini looked wasteful and Mounie quite sharp with Huddersfield boasting some decent upcoming fixtures.

feck it played my wildcard

From:

---------------Foster------------
Luiz------Simpson-----Kolasanic
KDB---Zaha-----Ritchie---Salah
Lukaku-------Kane------Rodriguez

Subs: Elliot--Mee--Rosenoir--Romeu

To:

---------------Foster------------
Daniels------Cedric-----Davies (will switch to Trippier when he's fit)
Alli------Salah-----Pogba---David Silva
Lukaku-------Lacazette------Rodriguez

Subs: Elliot--Mee--Schindler--Carroll

Reason behind early switch:
Was originally planning on waiting for Sanchez to strike form BUT this way, I now have 15 players who all play and I can afford them before the likes of Alli or Pogba go up in price or before the likes of Zaha and KDB and Kane go down in price.

My only reservation is Silva but KDB seemed to be playing quite deep, spreading passes around, which is not ideal for a 10m MF. Zaha looked shite, and although I still believe Ritchie will come good, I have a better feeling about Pogba.

 this bloody game sure does get the old knee twitching

Tbh I don't see much difference in your two teams. Dropping Kane for Lacazette is a risk, he hit the bar and had a few chances against Newcastle. Considering how poorly Chelsea were on Saturday, I would fancy him to do well.

I mean it's not the worst idea to WC now, but I think you could probably make just 1 change a week until the end of the month and then WC and be in a better spot to pick the form players.

Agree with you on KDB, have a feeling David Silva and Aguero will be back on top this year with a return to old.

Any Iwobi owners here? Is it worth sticking with him for the next game or should I just jump ship now for a cheap guaranteed 5m starter.

Quick question, if I don't use my free transfer this week do I get two free transfers the following week?

Zaha <-> Mkhi.

Should I pull the trigger now, or give Zaha another chance?

I also am thinking of bringing in Mkhi (for Pogba) but the problem is will he be a regular? Herrera will be getting game time and whenever that happens it's one of him and Mata who will most likely be benched

Mounie is a better bet than Rodriguez imo. Looked good at the weekend and he'll have a lot of confidence going into decent fixtures. Plus, West Brom are boring.

72 points good enough for 205th place, ffs. Most of you feckers said you were shite at this.

Yeah I was disappointed to see my 75 point haul got me relatively nowhere. Kane and KDB really let me down this week.

The average points counting all the teams was 58 which suggest a very high scoring week. It's commonly not so high above 40 points. I had 2 points less points than you with 1 player scoring 0 and other got a minus. 13 point man on the bench :(

Took Zaha out and put Willian in. Will probably be my best decision ever as Willian at the same value tend to put in the assists and the occasional goal

Naah, when Herrera comes in, it would be one of Mata/rashford getting the cull.

Think Zaha will probably outscore Willian throughout the season tbh.

Rashford is competing with Martial, Herrera in means we play 4-3-3 with no CAM and only one of Mkhi or Mata playing on the right wing

Who should I replace Sane with? I have 3 United players in my team already so it can't be Miki.
Should I wait 1 more week, and replace Sane and Matic with Miki and someone else?

Mkhi's advantage is that he can play both RW/LW. And Mata isn't a nailed on starter for us, even now.

Zaha out for 4 weeks, feck.

Already made 2 transfers, don't know whether to bite the bullet and go for an early wildcard or take the inevitable points drop with him on my bench
