Fantasy Football 2014/2015 (Public)

so which is the 'official' caf FF league then?
Someone else started a different one a few days back
 
Well this is the one being used for the twitter, problem is the code in the other thread has been made public as well.
 
Greetings all.

To answer Colin, last years league will reopen automatically if Rood creates a team again this year, and if he doesn't delete 'his' league. That said, I think Rood was getting a bit fed up with running it, so might like someone else to start a new one anyway. Apologies if I'm wrong Rood.

We have had a private league simply because otherwise you can spend months climbing the league place by place towards the top, only for some arsehole from another forum with a scabby score to join halfway through and be in front of you again. That does create work pm'ing the league code though, unfortunately.

So we could have three leagues soon I suppose. Or more! Mods?
 
I would rather join one RedCafe league or none. Won't have room for three RedCafe leagues!
 
Surely there has to be a private RedCafe league hasn't there?

Cheers. And I know, I tried to find a good balance still with strong defensive options and think I just about managed it! Usually I start with three or four 'must-have' players and build round them - in this case, being de Gea, Kompany, Toure, Mata and Rooney.

I am worried Mata won't get full games often. I can see him getting subbed off around the hour-mark for Kagawa and Januzaj on a few occasions.

If he makes 1-2 assists every other game then that wont matter. He will atleast play more than Lallana who was subbed everygame last season.
 
The only reason I'm not joining this is because there's no way to work my username into the team name without being questioned about it by others :/

Only just saw this post - for the record I passed on the reigns of the fantasy league a couple of years back and it was @gaz1185 who sorted it last year (https://www.redcafe.net/threads/the-redcafe-fantasy-league-2013-14.374286/) so I guess he had the option to renew it but looks like there is another now anyway.

It does need someone to police it to do it properly and check names etc to make sure all are official Caftards but I dont know if anyone is bothered to do it anymore.

Yeah I was more than happy to continue with controlling the fantasy league and was going to renew it until I noticed Levo had already created his own league for the forum. I still have the option to renew last seasons league, but it's probably pointless now judging by the number of people already registered in the new one.

Currently 5th although it will take someone extremely good and / or lucky to beat me at this game.
