Famous United fans...

That's a bit gay tbh.

If your just a poser then you will quickly get found out, nothing gay about what I said, you are either a red or you are not, there is no half way. Problem is with United is to many trippers who think that just because they have been to OT that they are now red, no you have to live it. For me it was looking out the front door and being able to hear the noise and feel the passion, smell the grass and feel the hairs stand up on the back of your neck, nothing gay about that.

Beckham's old man is a United fan, so that's where he got it from. His maternal grandfather was a Spurs fan and always used to buy him the kit, but he was definitely United. As someone else said, he turned up as a kid to Spurs in a United kit.

Re Steve Coogan - I've always heard that he's a red and the Paul Calf character was a Citeh fan as some kind of ultimate pisstake, i.e. all their fans are dead beats.

Steve Coogan is a Big Red like the rest of the family.

You've forgotten famous Salfordian Tim Burgess (from The Charlatans) --

Enrique Iglesias, go to bed!
I'm trying to be kind here, but Enrique just isn't my cup of tea. His music is horrible, he looks like Jamie Redknapp (as Forever Red pointed out), and to top it all off Anna Kournikova claims he's not very well endowed.

(:nervous: MuM is going to ban me now, isn't she?)

Enrique looks nothing like Redknapp :nono:

But he looks exactly like a Jamie Redknapp who's overdone the sunbed and the Clairol Natural Instincts (tm). :p They both got that 'smug prat' look down to perfection... *ducks & runs*

Leaving the Cal? vs FranklyVulgar type of cat fighting to Cal & Frankly (because Erica & I are so mature and reasonable, of course), and back on topic --

Daniel Harding is a United supporter.

Phil Lynott was a massive Utd fan. Bought shares in the club and everything. He was best mates with George best too and went to shit loads of games.

kinell, who is she? :eek::eek::D

wankbank sorted.

Tone Damli Aaberge... From one of the first, if not the first, Idol in Norway.

She's well hot... I saw her in a shop once... She's from the hometown of one of my exes, so she knew her quite well before her head inflated.

Ian McShane. In Lovejoy he always supped his tea out of a United mug.

Someone has already mentioned that was due to his dad playing for us. He was a player at United from 1950-54 and apparently was the announcer at Old Trafford in the 1960s.

Nick Robinson, the BBC political correspondent, went to Cheadle Hulme and a big United fan...

Robinson met his wife Pippa, a relationship counsellor, at university and they married in 1991. He has three children: Alice, Will (named in memory of Will Redhead) and Harry.[4] He lives in North London, close to Arsenal's Emirates Stadium. He is a lifelong Manchester United fan, and enjoys sailing and the theatre.

He was on TMS the other day at Lords and mentioned it in his interview.

Has Geoff Boycott been mentioned yet?

I know he's a Man United fan which seems a bit odd as the world's most professional Yorkshireman, but I remember reading somewhere he grew up in the Busby Babes era so he had a lot of respect for the team and ended up being a fan. He mentions them quite a lot on TMS, for example when that Indian fella got concussion the other week he mentioned "a Mexican fella at Man Yooooonited has concussion, you've got to be careful with that".
