Just saw that Real Madrid have only won La Liga 4 times since 2003. Just 4.

We've won it 5 times since 2006, for some perspective.

What are some other unbelievable facts about football?

Rob Earnshaw is the only player to have scored a hat-trick in all 4 professional divisions of English football.

Ronaldo has won league only twice (both at Madrid) and never won CL.

He played for Inter, Barca, Madrid, Milan, PSV but won league only twice. That's a very poor record.

Manchester United haven't won the league since SAF (>5 years).

Robinho has 100 caps for Brazil, which makes him the most capped forward and 6th highest Brazilian overall.

Lukas Podolski has 130 caps for Germany! Only Matthäus and Klose have more.

Liverpool have only won 1 trophy in 13 years.
(And that's the one there fans call a micky mouse cup).
Feckin hell.

A player who regularly starts for a top six club killed a woman and only got a fine. Nobody really mentions it.

Seriously, feck Marcos Alonso

"And on the ball now is Marcos Alonso, who killed a woman 8 years ago..." Is that the sort of thing you expect?

It was in the papers at the time (he was a Bolton player I think).

Outside of the media, it gets mentioned on here everything his name is brought up.

Thought Tony Cottee did that?

Actually just remembered think Cottee scored in all four divisions in one single season somehow.

Hudson Odoi is younger than Phil Foden....play him Pep!!!

apparently the footballing term ‘nutmeg’ comes from the early part of the 20th mcentury when nutmeg was very expensive. Sellers would make little wooden nutmegs in and amongst the real ones and increase weight and get more money. The buyers were fooled, hoodwinked or made to look an idiot and hence nutmegged.

Arsenal haven't retained a League title since 1934/35.

Liverpool have only won 1 trophy in 13 years.

13 years,wow.
I remember when they won the League Cup and the Liverpool players were celebrating the victory so hard.
I can understand why now.

Imagine if your an 18 -20 year old Liverpool fan. You have only seen your team win 1 trophy. That's quite depressing.

Nottingham Forest haven't been in the Premier League since their 98/99 relegation. Since that time nearly half the football league have played Premiership football.

AC Milan won the league scoring 36 goals
This will forever remain the craziest thing to me. That's relegation level. 19 out of their 34 games ended 0-0 or 1-0 (to either team). Atalanta, who finished 17th, scored 35 - one fewer goal than the Champions! There wasn't a single league game in which Milan scored more than 2 goals.

And then they proceeded to wallop Barcelona 4-0 in the CL final.

James Milner has been a premier league footballer for 6154 days. He was born precisely 6154 days before that. He's been a top flight footballer for exactly half of his life.

Jesse Lingard plays for Manchester United. Yeah, I'll be that guy.
