No, because you're not going into random threads and replying to me with the sole intention of harassing me.

I could put him on ignore but frankly I don't want every post I make to be followed by a captain picard facepalm picture, regardless of whether or not I can see it.

Intent is subjective, thus you don't know what his intent truly is.

Maybe he could be trying to tell you something about your son Antonio.

Either way, you've been presented with a solution to your issue and have decided to forgo it.

I hate them, and they should be banned.

The are lame.
Unfunny.
Unimaginative.
Unproductive.
And are used by posters to derail discussions or simply harass other posters (for example, Ole_Gunnar has posted the hilarious Captain Picard facepalm picture to my previous few posts, for no particular reason. See: https://www.redcafe.net/f6/manchest...oor-players-we-should-more-like-spurs-254692/)
p.s bonus point to the first poster to post that oh-so-funny 'Thread Failed' stamp.

Occasionally. At least it wasn't an eyesore, and it poked fun at an Arsenal player, rather than harassing members and derailing threads.

I cant think of a way that they could be systematically prevented, but I think that people who overuse them should be punished.

For example Ole_Gunnar, he has now posted the image after several of my posts in the last half hour or so, because I told him that I find it lame and unfunny. I certainly think that those posts should be deleted and he should recieve some form of punishment, for general twattery. If an admin could look into this it would be much appreciated.

How would you like it if I followed you around the forum and posted it after every single post you make?

I have, guess what that achieves? They post it again.

https://www.redcafe.net/search.php?searchid=1669082

7 of his last 10 posts have been just that picture. 6 directed at me, after serious posts, because I told him to feck off with it yesterday (he posted it against SAF...SIR ALEX FERGUSON!)

The posts should at the very least be deleted.

I dont like running to the admins but there is only two ways to deal with this. This is the first, and the second is to fight fire with fire, but I dont see what that would achieve.

Incorrect.

He posted it against SAF.

I told him to feck off, said it was unfunny, and he has since posted it in response to my posts regardless of the content.

I'm not the one stalking someone on an internet forum.

So we are in agreement then?

What can be done about it? Can you at least delete Ole_Gunnar's posts and get him to stop e-stalking me?

It takes more effort to be a cnut than it does to not be a cnut.

Is this a clever internet joke that I don't understand?

? E-stalking/harassing someone is being cnutish, is it not?

I'm just not l33t enough it seems

What is it then? If he is going to post it after any post he sees me make until he gets bored?

Indeed, especially when some nerdy little kid is posting it sat behind his computer about a decision that Sir Alex Ferguson is making.

I think they should be allowed in the General and Entertainment forums, but in the Football forums where people are usually attempting to have constructive discussions its completely unfunny and unnecessary.
