FA Premier League - 08/03/25 to 10/03/25

How weak is this season when this United with half the team injured outplay the 2nd best team in the league?

Man. United could easily finish 15th-16th now as I think West Ham are beating Newcastle tomorrow. Everton will likely win another 3-4 games this season with what they have left at Goodison.

Was going to pose it in his thread in the main forum but as an away fan probably not my place to post it but can Amorim genuinely keep his job if that happens?

I get it was always going to be transitional six months when he came in but Man. United were still upper mid table and only a few points off top 8 when he was appointed.

The dismal home results means he can't get any momentum going and that will surely impact into next season.

Sky straight in with protecting Arsenal at all areas asking Rice if they thought the wall was too far back

United did well there and should’ve won. Heaven was good.

Title is done now. 16 points from 27 remaining guarantees it. That’s if Arsenal win all of their remaining league games. Five wins from nine takes us to Arsenal’s max of 85.

Top four looks really interesting.

They created better chances, and Arsenal never felt threatening apart from a few cutbacks.
Amorim's plan was clearly to let Arsenal have the ball and and play on the counter, despite being at home.

Yes, MU had the few better chances (in the second half, because the first one was a no show) and should've won if they had a better striker. But to say that they outplayed Arsenal is a massive stretch.

All in all, a horrible game of football.

No disagreement there.

I expected better from Arsenal here, and they showed very little. It's no wonder Liverpool are running away with the title.

This sky guy doing the interviews has ignored Rice and Eriksen both saying there were multiple times when the wall felt too far back for both teams, he’s working very hard to create a goal controversy here

That penalty appeal on Hayden...Saliba had a penalty for virtually the same thing this season. They need to make this handball thing consistent. I don't think that is a penalty, but if you call it one time, you have to call it every time.
50 wrongs don't make a right.

Fair play, and he won't get this often, to Mikel for not raising to that free kick shit questioning. This interviewer is fecking diabolical, he should be sacked, good on Mikel walking away from him.
