FA Cup Third Round

It was the player who took the corner who came from an offside position. He wasn't even in the frame on the pictures shown at first.

Defender on the goal line for that offside, or did I just imagine that bit?

I don't get how Salah isn't offside because the Wolves defender plays the ball but the Wolves player is offside when the Liverpool player plays the ball.

Liverpool are incredibly average defensively. How on earth are a lot of folks still predicting them to be in top 3 at the end of the season?

Even if the first cross is offside, surely it’s another phase of play by the time it reaches him?

Yeah this. I don’t care whether he’s behind the ball etc, it’s irrelevant. Even worse considering how Salah scored.

He was onside for the back flick to score. How was he active in any of those parts of the play before that? No attempt at the ball was made, nor did he interfere with an opponent or gain an advantage.

Has to be the player who crossed the ball in, maybe we just couldn't see it on the TV replay

It's exactly like that Benzema one in the CL final. Rules literally do not apply when Liverpool are playing.

Liverpool are the type of team that despite being so poor and conceeding so many chances they will still likely be top tier against the best teams.
Not sure anymore. Their next game is against Brighton and that could be nasty

How on earth was Wolves 3rd goal disallowed, while Liverpool's 2nd goal wasn't? Are the offside rules different for Liverpool than for everyone else?

So are we ever going to see the VAR decision with lines...or are they making it up like Juan Mata's squiggly line one.

Ref he went through the back of the Wolves player for feck sake

Still Salahs got given under bullshit circumstances.

Like for Liverpool they always look for any excuse to allow the goals for them and any excuse to allow the goals against them

Referee should just put on red shirt. How was that not a foul?

Im still trying to figure out which player was offside. Then Let’s talk about the lines

Referee is just very openly supporting Liverpool now, wouldn’t be surprised to see them get a very soft penalty in a minute.
