FA Cup Final: United v City

Secure top four quickly, try to give all our players a bit of a rest over the final few weeks of the season, hope for the best.

Getting pumped. We’ll talk a good game and then get outplayed from start to finish and lose convincingly.

Manchester winning all the trophies. Can't believe we got the two big ones.

Have there ever been two bald managers facing off in the fa cup final?

They will be favourites for sure but you never know in football.

We have a good chance to win the cup! We will be well rested and prepared with some players also being back from injury.

United confirmed only season ticket holders who’ve been to all home cup games and applied for semi can apply

I hope we shithouse our way to a win. Bring out the dark arts
It'll turn out that everything this season was part of Ten Hag's plan called "Operation Tramposo", all centred around winning the FA Cup. He's got a big pin board that focused on playing three different Spanish teams in order to learn their mystical shithouse ways.

Gonna be a cracking final. Hopefully we put our best into it then what happens, happens.

Can’t believe it’s the first ever time for a Manchester final. Need a fully fit team. Be so good if we stopped them winning the treble.

Wish it was Brighton vs City as they would have a better chance at stopping the scum from winning the treble. White text

If we have all the players that played today fit and available again and we play with energy and aggression, why the feck can't we beat them?! We've already beaten them once this season anyway.

Like Eriksen a lot but hope Fred plays in the final.

Hopefully we‘ll have Varane, Garnacho back for it. Martinez would be great but maybe too optimistic. He’s going to have to have some kind of real life Wolverine healing power to make it.

Secure top 4 in next couple of weeks

Get Verane & Garnacho back,
Rashy, Cass and more importantly DDG back on top form by then...

who knows we may actually stop the Treble

If both teams played 10 times you'd win 2 or 3 and draw 3 or 4.
Something like city 5 w, 2d, united 3w.

Congrats on reaching the final but man up ye feckers, it'll be a good game where we are slight favorites but it's anyone's trophy.

That said I hope we batter ye 8-0.

Don't think they are quite ecstatic about playing us as well. They are favorites, but we can definitely beat them in a one off game, especially with Rashford on the counter.

City are going to smash us just Brighton did. Or something like that.

We need title race to go to the wire. And we need to have top 4 secured early. Wrap them in cotton wool and you never know

I hope Arsenal run them all the way to the last game of the season. That’ll be a key factor. We don’t need them putting their feet up with games to spare because Arsenal capitulated.

City may have the most ridiculously deep and best squad in world football but even they suffer fatigue, and boy their schedule is packed.

Anything can happen in a derby and the last time we played we beat them. I expect the team to give everything in the final, and if we still get beat then so be it. But if we have Bruno and Rashford on full fitness, we can hurt any team in the world.

The big showdown we’ve been waiting for - Haaland vs Weghorst.

The defence looks solid and, if we start with Fred, we can give them a game.

Great opportunity to stop our rivals from winning the treble. Need the spirit of 77.

We are likely going to be spanked by a much better side, especially with our CBs out, but hey you cant try for an upset if you don't qualify

I still recall the 2005 final when we absolutely butchered Arsenal...and lost.

Time for that karma to come home baby.

A final is a final. Anything can happen between now and the game and our players are in a slump now but hoping we get our ducks in a row before the final. Our goals have dried up and we need to start taking our chances. I’ll be happy with the same line up as today with Sabi in for Eriksen

Is this before the CL final?

A lot can happen before we play them. We will have fewer games going forward so our form might improve

TalkSport already talking about if City wins the final and they’re favourites..
Already starting

United play Fulham at home and City go to Brentford 6 days before the FA Cup final. City then potentially have to play Inter/AC Milan in the UCL final in Istanbul 6 days later.
