FA Cup Final; Arsenal v Aston Villa

I've thought so for a long time. Players don't seem to give a feck until they're close enough to win it. The finals are usually not entertaining for the neutral fan. Carling Cup has more entertainment and that cup is seen as a joke. Maybe that's the trick.

I would think the opposite, especially since teams often bring youngsters in the League Cup and thus veterans care less about that. Either way, I'm just baffled at the way United dealt with the FA Cup for years with a blatant lack of seriousness. That B team Fergie sent on in 2009 against Everton was the most insulting thing I've seen from us regarding that competition.

Di Maria is a good player, but not suited to the league. Sanchez whereas...

There are many factors as to why you'd think that, he hasn't had the greatest of debut seasons even though he started the season in very good form. Given a run in a settled side I think he'll get back to his best.

He's been excellent almost every time I've seen him for them in the second half of the season, so that's harsh.
He is not even close to his former self

I've never seen him being excellent in an arse shirt I don't think

That looked like it should have been a free-kick on the edge of the box to me.

Bellerin always seems to manage to get away with something big in every game.

not surprising bearing in mind we gave up on this cup about ten years ago

That's unacceptable for a team of United's stature to even think of giving up on the FA Cup. Would you ever see Bayern saying "feck it" to the DFB Pokal? Would you ever see Barcelona or Real Madrid spitting on the prospect of winning the Copa Del Rey?

Yeah, don't rate him at all. Basically every game I've seen him play he should have either been sent off or given away a penalty.

Good performance from Arse but ref so biased!

I think he's just exaggerating. We've either had very difficult runs, or we just feck it up in the early stages against a team that we should be beating like Leeds or Swansea.

I'm still mad about us fecking up a 2-0 lead against Chelsea a few years back!

Arsenal were good yes. But I wouldn't be able to except that as a Villa fan.

Agree with that. But i get the feeling that we are now taking it more seriously.
