Chad Lukewick facing his old team
As someone who lives in Cambridge and goes to the Abbey (fairly) regularly, as it's quite cheap and a great day out, I am currently going absolutely fecking mental.
Falcao at the Abbey. Fair enough.
Thats the feeling I got when I found out 2 minutes around the cornor from me in the Tallaght Stadium (home to Shamrock Rovers) I would be seeing Ronaldo, Benzema, Raul and Sneijder, then somehow we fumbled are way in to the Champions League qualifying rounds and im seeing Alessandro del Piero parading around the ground in a rovers jersey
Yeah it's really weird thinking that I'll be at Old Trafford for United Southampton and at the Abbey (!?!?) For Cambridge v United.... At work today all the talk was who Cambridge would get in the draw and then this happens - nuts.
I was salivating at the prospect of a Cambridge vs Liverpool cup upset and watching it live.
I still remember vividly when my postman scored the winning goal for Histon against Leeds, years ago.
Do you think it's going to be really hard to get tickets for this one? I'm tempted to make the trip over...As someone who lives in Cambridge and goes to the Abbey (fairly) regularly, as it's quite cheap and a great day out, I am currently going absolutely fecking mental.

Usually takes a few days for the TV companies to screw everything up - tomorrow or Thursday for the schedule I'd say.Do you think it's going to be really hard to get tickets for this one? I'm tempted to make the trip over...
Also, do we know yet whether we play on Saturday on Sunday or is that done later?

When was the last time we drew 2 non pl sides in a row?
I'm in the Cambridge area too. Been a number of times myself, though not for a couple of years. As someone who lives in Cambridge and goes to the Abbey (fairly) regularly, as it's quite cheap and a great day out, I am currently going absolutely fecking mental.

Chelsea/Millwall would be pwopa naughty.
A Cambridge fan once told me they've got the best pitch in the country because they keep putting shit on it every week.
Your wish has been granted
I've taken quite a lot of joy out of seeing how pissed off Luton fans are at missing out on playing us. My god they're a horrible bunch, I'm so happy.
Tbf a lot of people in England drop the t in the middle of words. This is fact.
But then you can't take a team seriously who can't pronounce their own team's name.
It's not Lu-on, it's Lu T on. There's a t in there

Nice draw for the broadcasters. Many potential banana skins and all the big clubs kept apart. Hmmm
Feb 2/3 depending on when the TV people want itAnyone know when the replay will most likely be? Midweek between Leicester and West Ham would be my guess
3rd or 4th I'm guessing you mean? 2nd is monday.Feb 2/3 depending on when the TV people want it

Amazing, you wouldn't think Cambridge United would generate that mush interestApparently the 42nd time in a row that a United FA Cup match has been televised.
Haha could never have for seen this!Take a bow!
Although the broadcasters messed it up a bit by having all the banana skins playing at the same time.
