Lewis back out in 9th !!
8th. And four cars have to pit.Lewis back out in 9th !!
Cheers. Still has work to do to get a podium.8th. And four cars have to pit.
Yeah, Merc called that just in time (poor Bottas). Guess it all comes down to whether the Ferraris and Max hit the cliff which seems unlikely.4th, Bottas has just been told to slow down himself and Albon. Then Hamilton gets fresher tyres to catch and attack.
Yeah, has to catch and pass Verstappen. Gonna be tough, will need some luck/tyre dropoff.Cheers. Still has work to do to get a podium.
Yeah, that was harsh on Bottas but the right call for the team, Bottas' ceiling in this is fourth.Yeah, Merc called that just in time (poor Bottas). Guess it all comes down to whether the Ferraris and Max hit the cliff which seems unlikely.
I'd say not so much on this track. Mercedes must have been thinking safety car as much, if not more than fresh tires.Yeah the fresher boots could help Lewis at the end.
10 laps too late for that. Might actually hurt him against Vertsappen, cuts the gap but saves the tyres and that was the issue for him. Vettel is the big loser. Is this the break Lewis needed ?
Have to agree , 3rd is his best today I think.10 laps too late for that.
Was my read as well, Grosjean did nothing wrong. Shame because I was looking forward to another excuse to laugh at him/Haas.Poor from Russell. Grosjean gave him space at the turn and he didn't reciprocate at the exit.
I was about to make a joke about not remembering a single thing but then realised it was almost true. You had Webber flying after hitting a Lotus. Can't remember a single other feature.
It had Maldonado back then.
In this case the accident made it worse. And now another safety car, yay.The track has always been desultory but we've seen accidents down the years that have spiced things up.
Yeah, the restarts have been shocking for them, guessing a tyre-warming issue. And now we get another chance to demonstrate it with another safety car.Interested to hear from Mercs after this. The lack of pace from both restarts and the strategy must be one if the worst I’ve seen.
They were probably screwed either way to be fair, undercut wouldn't have been possible with their tyre warm-up issues and with Hamilton in a Ferrari sandwich they were always going to be vulnerable on strategy. Probably should have pitted Bottas earlier though.Interested to hear from Mercs after this. The lack of pace from both restarts and the strategy must be one if the worst I’ve seen.
Their failure to appreciate track position is puzzling. Asking miracles from Lewis.Interested to hear from Mercs after this. The lack of pace from both restarts and the strategy must be one if the worst I’ve seen.
There's hardly a race goes by where Norris doesn't impress.
I love him, he's a great character. Would love him and Max in a team together.
