Well played by Merc , they blew it earlier in the race not pitting Lewis, but Lewis made up so much time they effectively had a free pit, took the gamble and used it.
Probably worth a go for Merc, don't think it will work out as the pace advantage isn't there (and if he does catch his tyres will be shot anyway) but could get interesting if Max runs out of tyres or gets held up in traffic.
Going to be really tight at the end.

Lewis having to clear back markers is holding him up , once Lewis gets past them , he will hammer it.
Max has picked up the pace, I doubt Lewis will catch up now.
I think Max will have tire issues for the last couple of laps so this will be an arse clincher for sure

Every lap is a qualifying lap. Don't know how much longer Hamilton can keep this up but it really is fascinating to watch.
