F1 2017 Season

Got to be the worst race since this race three years ago, nothing of interest going on. Even Putin's arrival was more exciting in 2014. Might have to find Vettel's on-board and count how many times he goes off track at turn 3.
 
Bottas shitting the bed would make things more interesting. Wonder if he's got a flatspot.
 
The top cars even struggle to get close to the backmarkers... Going to have to get used to races with zero overtakes.
 
I only switched over after the football but there wasn't a single overtake that I saw other than passing backmarkers.

If ever a race showed us why F1 needs a change, it's this one. Not even just the lack of overtaking this just isn't fun to watch.
 
As much as I can't stand Hamilton I think the only positive about him winning in a race is that we don't hear him crying on the radio every 1/2 lap
 
Mercedes very fortunate, Ferrari should have pitted Seb Vettel a couple laps before to give him more time to catch and over take Bottas which I reckon he would have done. Shithouse move by Massa at the end there as well, knew exactly what he was doing planting himself between the front two.

All that said, I don't begrudge Bottas his maiden win, he is a likable guy and is actually quickly becoming Mercedes front runner this season. It's funny to see Hamilton struggle some what after years of having everything go for him.

:confused: why ? just becasue he struggled at this race.

Lewis 2 poles a second and todays 4th , Bottas 3 x 3rd and one Pole.
Just how is that better performance than Lewis

They happen to him quite often. He's very quick when the car is very good but that's about it and to me that doesn't make a fantastic driver.
 
Lewis is second in the list of all time race winners with only Sch in from of him.
3rd in the list of all time Pole sitters and only 5 behind Sch and he will beat that this season or next.
How that does not make him a fantastic driver God only knows .
