F1 2016 Season with Fantasy League see Threadmark

Would love to see Hamilton in a Ferrari. 3 Time WDC, that's good enough. Go do a Nige.

Feck sake, the one thing more annoying and dull than Merc winning every race is Merc and Vettel winning every race.

Pretty sure the big wigs at Mercedes would much rather have a German and the most marketable name in the sport than two Germans. Hamilton in a Ferrari would be special though, until it became clear he was wasting his time there at least.

James Allen just posted this - Latest: @MercedesAMGF1 broke the curfew last night, making a precautionary change of Lewis Hamilton's fuel system ahead of Quali today #F1

Then this - Paddy Lowe explained that Hamilton's engine is one from Spa and there was a fault on fuel system so they took all night to change it #F1

Be interesting if there is a penalty, when it rains it pours for Lewis.

Lewis has this, will have to take a mechanical fault to stop him winning. Is it bad to say even as a Hamilton fan part of me wants his engine to go just for the drama. Merc clown show off the track is more exciting then the actual races.

:wenger:

Hopefully Verstappen takes out Rosberg in a wildly reckless takeover attempt.

Was shaping up to be an interesting battle for second but that VSC just ruined that... Bit of a lucky break for Rosberg.

:lol:Gerard Butler on the podium.

3 Races to go Redfish again extends his lead to 47 points, nobody is catching him now.
Next race is Mexico Sunday at 7pm UK time.
If anybody is still interested.

Felt like the race needed more drama at the front. The top 3 cars on the grid finished 1,2 & 3.
Ok, there was some interesting stuff going on for the other positions but overall I was disappointed.

What was the story behind the Mclarens being relatively competitive? Genuine pace or good strategy? Button looked racy and Alonso with the best placed finish in the Honda era?

Was shocked to see them both do other cars on the long straights!

Alonso was fortunate with Kimi and Verstappen retiring, their pace was ok for around 9-10th position. What showed clearly was that Alonso with a decent car under him is still one of the best drivers on the grid

Been decades since Bernie has seemed to actually give a toss about the sport itself, preferring instead to focus on gimmicks and his own bottom line. No wonder it's in such a dire state.

Something does have to change but the problem is and has been for yonks the cars themselves. The idea that a dramatically increased chance of death will suddenly make people interested again is borderline insane.

I can't even remember what the regulation changes are for next year, such is the extent to which my interest has vanished (I also only found a few days ago that that Allison had left Ferrari). Will give it a shot as I do at the start of every season but my hopes aren't overly high.

He's a cretin but something has to change. Aren't there concerns that next year will be even more of a snooze fest?

Well with wider cars overtaking will be at a premium even though they have more grip, Monaco will be fascinating lol.

You are right something does need to be done, F1 they way it is now, is just losing fans hand over fist.
Take here, a couple of seasons ago, the would be lots of posts during a race, this season I have seen races with hardly any posts and qualifying with none.

What is shameful is we have an incredible set of drivers in Hamilton, Vettel, and Alonso. Throw in Rosberg, Riccardo, Verstapen and we should be watching incredible grand Prix races every week. Instead we listen to "so he got a free pit stop?" and the like.
