What would you know about it...nothing
who the feck are you to call the fa cup plastic?
the uefa cup is still a better competition than that mickey mouse cup winners cup ye won in the nineties...as for the worthington cup, it is a bit plasticky, but who cares...the supercup equates to the world club thingy ye won in japan..ie not much

So Leeds and Liverpool, currently top of the PL, aren't currently the best teams in the league?

Nowt wrong with the FA Cup, but that's where it stops.
But do you seriously think your UEFA/Worthless tropies equals our PL/CL trophies? Do you think it's fair to compare these two efforts?
You say it yourself; "as for the worthington cup, it is a bit plasticky"....
And why the fck bring up cup winner cups, supercups and world club championships? <img src="graemlins/houllier.gif" border="0" alt="[Houllier]" />

Before we get tangled up in semantics what's your definition of "the best team in the league"?
Do you mean the one that has more points?
Or perhaps the one with that plays the most exciting football?
The table will show you that Liverpool might currently be the former, but any footballing fan can make a fullproof case against the latter.
Cheers.

Did they call it "The Treble" in '84? ... Nope.

Your seriously suggesting that Liverpool and Leeds are not, currently, the best sides in the PL?
Please enlighten me with you "FOOL Proof" case to back this up, I'm certain it's going to be more of a "Foolish" case, but I look forward to you making a T!T of yourself so please carry on......

By definition a treble relates to 3 of somthing, as we won three trophies I can't see how you can describe last season's achievments as anything but a treble. Is your treble more "3 like" then?
In regards your "Plastic" tag I reckon this is somthing you lot coined to make yourselves feel better about our success's last season. If it makes you happy, good on you, you can call it a dog Sh!t treble if you like, no skin of my nose.

Knoxy,
You're doing your team a disservice. Your team won 5 trophies last year, hence the word "treble" wouldn't apply now would it?

OK.
So if Blackpool win the LDV Trophy and The Worthless cup, they've taken The Double by your logic?

I just gave you the proof. Nobody wants to watch Liverpool craps games. You are utter craps.
Moreover, not even your fans go to watch your games. That's fecking pathetic. That's how craps you are.
What more proof you want?

They would win a cup DOUBLE, yes, well done, you're catching on.
I wonder if you ready to go a bit further. the treble equivalent of 4 is QUADROPLE.
Now, if a team were to win 4 competitions in a year they'd have a won a QUADROPLE.
Do you understand?
Double = (2)
Treble = (3)
Quadrople = (4)
It's quite simple really, bit like some of you lot....

Right! But you won 5. So it's not a treble. Now get your ass back into Kraptalk.

Witty...
If you wanna keep clutching at straws, fine by me. You've won A treble, not The Treble, as I'm sure you know deep inside.
It seems you need a little lecture on the use of the definite/indefinite article...
