Starcraft has the most money in it by a large amount. I saw this posted recently, how much money people have made from SC 2 in its first year

Also its quite funny, there's a Japanese player known as Kayo Police who was just on... Twitter is blowing up because people dont realise "she" is a ******

Sort of, but there's a lot of potential money for people who mostly work with youtube. The most popular one is Husky, who targets more of a casual crowds (but has also started doing pro casting, like this MLG). He has over 500k subscribers on youtube, and 72 million channel views. Considering he's a Youtube partner, he makes a good living from this.

But for the "regular" pro player, streaming (mostly from justin.tv) is the main money maker. Only a few can actually support themselves purely on winnings, there's not enough money in it yet. And not all pro teams even have salaries, let alone big ones.
