Be surprised if Arsenal pull this off. Atletico is mentally strong with quality at every position and over two legs Simeone is a better manager.

Arsene Wenger insists Arsenal's Europa League semi-final first leg at home to Atletico Madrid is like a "Champions League night" for the club.

Expect it isn't, is it Arsene.

ah, this is what we need for the line ups - comprehensive info

and with the Spanish team name properly spelled & respected

I think Atletico will win the game easily. Arsenal's defending in recent games has been abysmal. With the likes of Griezmann and Co around any errors will be punished. Arsenal have the ability to hurt any team going forward but they can't keep it tight at the back. People want to see this fairytale ending for Wenger but football doesn't work like that. You have to look at the simple facts. Arsenal have yet to score a point away from home in 2018. Atletico have conceded the least goals in Europe this season. Over two legs I can only see one winner. It's unrealistic to expect anything else. If Arsenal manage to go through it will be a massive shock IMO.

Atletico are the better team but they aren't in great form right now and I didn't like the way they played against us in the previous round. They need to go for it more than they usually do, Arsenal's defense is poor and if they score an away goal things will be much easier for them.

Listing line-ups ordered by shirt number rather than formation will never stop annoying me...

Is it just me who thinks Jake Humphreys is a massive twat?

Used to be okay on the BBC F1 coverage, but he's really irritating on BT. Tends to forgot he's the presenter and not the pundit - some of whom seem to find him annoying.

Consistently makes snide jibes about United/Mourinho.

Why does Jake Humphrey keep saying that winning the europa league will put Arsenal into the champions league for a 20th successive season. He’s said it at least twice. Why is nobody correcting him?!

Think Arsenal will go through.

Atletico have been a level below their usual selves this season and were a bit lucky to go through against Sporting.

With the fans and players upping their games for Wenger's farewell, Arsenal should beat them over two legs.

What is this hideous Arsenal rap im watching on BT? Why is there a random white buy in the background?

That song then was the most cringeworthy/Arsenal thing I’ve ever seen in recent years.

Costa not starting, maybe the stars are aligning for Wenger against the odds. Still a very strong Atleti team ofc.

Where is our courageous ex player who never shies away from battle?

Arsenal starting strong. Atletico are giving away possession far too easily in very dangerous positions.

Good but hard chance that from Lacazette, great ball by Welbeck.

And another good chance. Arsenal on top here.
