Why cant a club sign him for the jan transfer window? Or next summer? They cant technically loan him back if the Norwegian window is closed, but they can agree a transfer for next year.

Obviously they can but from a Molde perspective I'm not sure that's the best solution. They'd be kicking themselves if they today agree to sell for €9-10m in January, only for Håland to continue this form and be worth a few more millions by January. €9-10m was Molde's entire budget last year and they're sitting on a potential gem here. Unless the player is absolutely desperate to leave (my impression is that he's happy at Molde) I'd be tempted to hold tight for now and fend off all offers until January.

Apparently Molde have accepted a bid from RB Salzburg and it's up to the player if he decides to leave or not.

He has signed for Salzburg now and will move in January. We'll probably offer Leipzig 60 mil for him in 3 years.
