So he’s no longer our problem. What’s next for ten Hag? Back to Eredivisie? Some mid table job in Turkey? Maybe off to the Gulf? Place your bets

Watch him insult the club now to make himself look better. Guy will throw INEOS under the bus now to bluff his way into another job.

I don't think I've seen a manager fail so miserably after being backed so enormously. Half a billion wasted.

Interesting to see how he performs in his next job. He had some good times here, but the majority of it was very underwhelming, and downright poor.

He's destroyed his reputation. This wasn't simply a bad start to the season, we've been terrible for years. Decent football clubs are going to look at the money he spent, look at the football we played and the results we got and be frightened off. He never once made us consistent.

Thanks for the memories of which too few were positive. Still - this hardly fills me with much hope considering how much we've been floundering through several others before him. My biggest thing with Erik is that he arguably signed off on the most flops in our recent transfer history and that is largely on him.

It will take a very special person to turn our ship around. Whoever does will prematurely deserve a statue.

If he can convince our board, he can convince his next clubs board! That would be a dream scenario
That would be a dream, indeed!

Yeah, shame. I really wanted him to succeed here but alas, he mostly has himself to blame. Good luck Erik.

I just feel relieved that he's gone. Any bitterness towards him has evaporated to be honest now that he's no longer our problem. Wish him all the best, but I do have my doubts he will go on to achieve much of note.

Where ever he goes, let's hope he takes Onana Antony and co with him
Onana has probably been our best players this season. Reached a CL final under the fashionable Inzaghi. But ok everything to do with Ten Hag must be slammed .

Hope Ajax takes him back. The weird Italian peacock they have now is just overkill. I mean, I like laughing at Ajax as much as anyone, but enough's enough.

Thanks for coming to United, and for trying, Erik. It's a bummer it didn't work out.
That it hasn't worked out has been clear for some time now though. The sacking comes too late.

He should have been allowed to leave in summer with his head held high.

Like Ole, he won't ever coach in England again. And as weird as Bayern can be at times, I do not see them being interested for him.

I think he'll be back to Holland or some random midtable team in top European leagues. And like with the other sacked United managers, we will see him failing there too.

I was told by the caf faithfuls that Bayern and Barca would be lining up if we ever were stupid enough to sack him.

And he was so to turning it around again!

Higher profile team in a middling league. Austria, Switzerland, Belgium etc. Somewhere like Basel or Anerlecht.
