Eric ten Hag Sackwatch

I understand this is truly a new low but it’s so difficult to see light at the end of the tunnel.

I wonder if large portions of other rivals have felt like this for an extended period in time over the last 15 years or so. I simply struggle to see us competing at the top regardless of the manager or players we bring in. It’s such an inhospitable, toxic environment that almost feels like a poison chalice for anyone taking on the job.

Proper gutting needed from top to bottom. So apathetic I struggle to get excited over anything to do with this club right now and probably find it healthier to just miss games entirely, checking in on the score line. Glad I’ve not wasted my evening watching it tonight.

It's over for him. Can't use the players he bought properly and convinced the club to spend silly amounts on players like Antony who wouldn't even start for Bournemouth. Bye.

This is as bad as anything i watched in my 40 years of watching football. We somehow get worse by the minute.
No clue who we should get next, doesn`t matter, just would be fun to get a new manager bounce for a couple of games. Maybe score a goal or two even?

I see no point in sacking ETH without sacking the players, and what manager would be stupid enough to take the job?

But in the end, any manager that starts that midfield should be fired the second he hands in the starting lineup

Enough caretaker bollocks. Give ETH the rest of the season. As painful as it'll be, we'll be much better placed to make the right appointment, and give him a proper preseason.

Sacking now makes no sense

Letting this farce go on is what makes no sense.

A football season doesnt exist in a vacuum.

Let’s say we sack him. Only problem is it doesn’t matter who comes in next. He will also fail. Never ending story. Our players are not ready to put any effort. They don’t even run. I’m so sick that we are once again close to sacking the manager.

What are people hoping to achieve by sacking him?

With all the talk about the Glazers ceding sporting control I can’t see him being sacked until that happens.

Everything to do with this club is an utter farce. I would love to know the inside story about how it’s run, because from the outside it’s a hot fecking mess.

We win 1:0 against Fulham with a last minute penalty winner and everyone suddenly sees progress in ETH, Mount and Antony are suddenly good business by ETH, McT is a valuable squad player, Bruno one of PL‘s finest and Rashford has only a run of bad form but will come good again etc
I can already see the „can we realistically winnthe league“ threads if we manage to also win vs Luton the following week.
Rinse & repeat

He has to be sacked tomorrow!

I had high hopes he would be the one to turn the club around but the reality is if a club like Real Madrid had the same results as we've had they would be ruthless and get rid of him. Saying that I don't think we can bring anyone in who can fix this. Even if we get a short term bounce in a year or two we will be back to this level of mediocrity.

What are people hoping to achieve by sacking him?
Hoping to get a manager that can coach a style of play and maybe even, if we’re lucky, score a goal or two in a match.

He'll be sacked by next Monday after we lose to Fulham away on the weekend.

That’s what I’m going with. Can’t come soon enough for me. Some of the players will hopefully get their time and finally feck off but this manager has to go, it’s getting embarrassing for him at this point.

Completely pointless imo.

No top managers available and resetting the cycle of crap once more. I genuinely believe (though I understand those who disagree) that we need to stick through the difficult period and try to maintain some continuity. In my opinion he has enough credit in the bank from a 3rd place finish and a trophy that we shouldn't just abandon ship for the umpteenth time as soon as he has a difficult few months.

Nothing will change until those above the manager do. I think that is fairly self-evident.

Would take relegation if that means Glazers leave this club tbh

You think that’s going to happen?

What kind of witchcraft are you talking about, I’ve been led to believe that Erik is doing an amazing job but the players ruin everything.

Hes dug his own grave by sticking to the same tactics and players regardless of results..

I don’t believe in this opinion. He’s been given his own players and a ton of money yet his team cant put 2 passes together he can have no complaints. We’re on a road to nowhere signing absolutely shite under this manager

Problem is though, whoever comes in won't be able to get rid of the shit players he bought and we be stuck playing them.

Our players are not ready to put any effort. They don’t even run.
Okay but why? How do other clubs motivate their players to run and fight and work hard?

It's a serious question because I have no idea. Only we seem to be plagued with all these lazy grifters who give up at the first sign of adversity.

There is legitimately not a single reason why he should still be in the job this time tomorrow.

Of course he will be but it won't be because he deserves to keep it.

Give over. The manager has his questions to answer and won't be here much longer but these players have no credit in the bank. They are a disgrace.

It hurts me to do this, but it's time
Genuinely, who do you get to replace him?

I want him to stay, but even if I didn’t I can’t think of a gettable manager out there who is worth getting.

I’d take a chaos of a season in return for some psycho fan then booting Avram Glazers dog into orbit, forcing the prick to finally pack his dog pram and leave

You think that’s going to happen?
Yes! I think we can hire a better manager than Ten Hag, who has only had success in a strong team in a weaker league.

It really starts to feel this way, shockingly. I mean shockingly because I honestly thought this time it would be different, after last year. Nope, the same snakes, the same lack of effort when they don't want to, the same crap ownership and transfer processes. It will happen to save the face of them all, and it's a fecking joke. We'll be here again in 24-30 months unless something meaningful changes further up.

What are people hoping to achieve by sacking him?
I think people just want to see the new manager bounce before the inevitable slow roll into shit that has become the the new club norm.
