Enzo Maccarinelli V David Haye

Can't wait for this one, should be really good.

Very tough one to call

Both huge punchers so it could be finished early

I slightly favour Haye, Round 4

Should be a class fight. I think Haye is the more talented fighter, but getting down to cruiserweight seems to be taking a huge toll on his stamina and durability. It could have cost him against Mormeck and Maccarinelli has the power and stamina to make him pay for it. He also has the workrate to take advantage of Haye's habit of keeping his hands low.

It pretty much goes without saying that Haye has the power to KO Enzo as well though. Too close to call really, so I'm going to sit on the fence and just wait for the fireworks. :)

Given their punching ability, I don't think this will last too long.

Could go either way, would not like to bet my house on the outcome.

I think its a tough one to call - thats why its such an exciting fight.

I will be supporting Haye, I think he could make a big impact in the heavyweight division.

Tough call seems to have appeared a lot in the thread so far, adn that it surely is.

I know who i want to win, Haye, but whether he does or not we'll find out in a week or so. It's gonna be big! No guessing where all the celebes inside the M25 will be at around 1:30 next Sunday morning.

Did want to go but alas, i will make do with TV/radio. Great venue for the occasion as well.

I got lucky and got some good seats for a stupidly low price on ebay.

So is that when it is - 1.30? Not looking forward to finding my way back North of the river.

Never been inside the O2 so really looking forward to it.

Come on Haye.

Hopefully this can redeem a shite day for me sports wise. Both fighters came in a few pounds under the limit. Haye is ridiculously lean. He was about 5lbs under the 200lb limit before the weigh in, so he was able to start rehydrating before he even took the scales, which is a positive for him. Not sure what this says about his stamina - he always comes in lean but stamina and workrate have never been his strong suits.

I've got to think it will be Haye by KO early or Enzo late. Which is almost as non-committal as my last "prediction". :)

Had to give my fecking ticket up for this fight if the fight is brilliant this will really be a bad day for me.

It will be short I reckon, but could still be quality. Potential for it to be a bit slap-stick, knock-downs galore.

Haye in 4 for me

Looking forward to this one. Still giving the slight edge to Big Mac.

Starting soon. There's a decent sopcast stream if anyone wants it.

what a disappointment was hoping for a longer battle fair play to haye though he showed his class

lol just turned it on to see the replay knock down, how many rounds was that?

yeah i know i was hoping enzo could put up a bit more he looked like an amateur in there

Haye moving up a weight now and considering how bad the heavyweight division is Haye could be undisputed champ with in a year.

i reckon so he has nothing to prove in this division now

feck me, that was quick. Fair stoppage by the ref, Enzo is still a bit unsteady. A bit disappointing that it ended so quickly, but probably good for British boxing. Enzo will likely never be hit so hard at cruiserweight again, and he could be a champion at this weight class again.

Haye's profile will go into orbit. He's unified at cruiser in emphatic style, and the heavyweight division is wide open right now. He'll carry his power up there, no doubt about it, and he's very media friendly too.

Sam Peter will be a tough fight for him - granite chin and KO power, even if he is a plodder.

Klitschko can obviously knock him out, but he's got a shite chin and Haye is the faster and more aggressive fighter.

No reason why Haye can't do it.

Just watched the Sam Peter fight. He won by KO but he moves like he's wading through a swimming pool filled with shit. Granite chin was a little overboard as well. He's tough, but Maskaev buzzed him, and McCline has hurt him. Haye should beat him.

I really need to sort my sleep pattern out, staying up til 5am to watch that garbage. :(

I see Haye beating anyone in the heavyweights except for Wladimir. Wlad will just do exactly what he did to Ibragimov and keep Haye away from him with the jab and win a boring decision. Anyone else and I can see Haye winning. Though Haye has a chance against Wlad because Wlad's chin is weak and Haye can punch but I just don't see him getting inside to land that punch against him.
