Honestly, I don't know. I'm genuinely bewildered now. The lead is now 260, its incredibly unlikely that Australia would get to 260 in the time left if we didn't bowl them out. They're now playing for Bairstow's 100.

I think how easy Bairstow and Anderson are batting here is why England aren't declaring. You'd just be letting the Aussie openers get in and reduce the deficit.
