I suffer delusions of grandeur
fecking disgrace of a decision
Lads have done us proud by the way.
fecking disgrace of a decision
Shocking mate, I thought the replays were conclusive to anyone.
SA are world champions well done to them. England did us proud
the fecking video ref was an aussie n all from what i heard
absolute fecking disgrace
What really cost England was not being able to score try's they scored 1 in 3 games.
Best team in the WC won...
Awful final
Best team at the WC won...
Awful final
Lets all laugh at England...thats why they did not get that try. Some people will figure it out, most will not. Disgraceful but thats the world for you.
Absolutely cracking WC with a shite Final.
Ah well, it was entertaining throughout the games at any rate.
It wasn't a shite game. It wasn't nearly as one sided as what people are making out either. Neither team took the risk of trying to force the issue, until the situation meant England were forced to. No doubt who the better team is on their day though.
The video ref thing was annoying. If you're going to take about ten minutes to make a decision, you could at least make sure it's right.
Still, no real complaints. SA are a far better team than England
It was rubbish, basically a sterile 0-0 draw decided on penalties. The one bit of skill in the game was rewarded with a shit reffing decision which took five minutes to get wrong.Dont think it was a shite final, 2 good teams playing the game hard and passionately. Just because there wasnt 5 tries apiece doesnt make it shite.
It was really funny: " Jaysus fecking Christ the bastards have scored. Can youse give me any fecking chance to not give it?"Sounded funny in an Irish accent, anyway - like he really wanted a reason.
Is it normal for the ref to say to the TV ref, "Can you give me any reason why I shouldn't award a try"? Surely if he didn't see an infringement, he shouldn't ask for a replay? Sounded funny in an Irish accent, anyway - like he really wanted a reason.
I was also somewhat confused by the eventual conclusion of "ball was in touch"
erm...
That explains everything, fecking cnut. I saw every fecking replay and couldn't see a thing wrong with it. He picked his foot up before the line, it didn't go into touch, that replay from behing showed that.
I thought it was too close to call... it's impossible to tell on TV whether his foot touched the line before he lifted it or not. You'd've thought in such cases they should allow the try - in part cos it favours attacking play, more because the alleged infringement could not be proved.

Still, let's not be bitter... the cnuts
