Going on expected lines... I didn't think we could chase more than 175 on this wicket.
My badYou wanted 100 more!
I was about to say India are still favourites based on the scoreboard but that helps, even if it is Axar Patel.50/50 game on the scoreboard.
India Favs In reality due to England's lack of killer bowling.
Root. Wow. England surely favourites now. This is one of the best tests I've ever seen (or technically, listened to on radio)
The Agnew comment about the fields today giving protection for the bad balls compared to the first innings is a good point. It's meant that scoreboard pressure has been kept up.
Feels like Jadeja is the likely big wicket remaining. He loves these situations.
England have been amazing. A really strong comeback from a dire position after day 1.
India, on the other hand, have serious mentality issues. They really struggle under the tags of favourites and this meek approach in trying to nudge to victory has not worked well. I think they got complacent after the first couple of days and that showed in their bowling performance on day 3.
Saying they struggle as Favs at home is a little odd seen as they win every single series they play.
I think you need to examine this by circumstance, not averaged over an entire series.
If you consider the quality of the team versus the number of trophies they've actually won in that time (including test championships and various ICC limited overs series) it tells a different story of how their mentality affects them in singular pressure situations.
