England Squad + Match Discussion (The Tuchel Era) | Jordan Henderson, Dan Burn, Kyle Walker all called up

Ref bottled sending Bellingham off. Clear cut yellow card.

Would have liked to see Nwaneri is this squad get 25/30 minutes here from the RW. Lacking options there now.

Reece James is delightful to watch. If he can stay fit I really like the idea of him and MLS in the full-back positions, two players who are so tidy and good at protecting the ball but with the progressive passing to match would add a nice element of control.

I don’t understand why we’ve moved Rashford to the right. Yes his end product wasn’t always perfect in the first half but he was causing all sorts of problems for Latvia. Now we are creating nothing on the left at all and can’t get Rashford consistently involved either.

Fair play for watching.

I've slowly evolved from actually going to Wembley and paying £40 to watch England play a friendly, to not even watching the qualifiers on tv.

Just don't enjoy international games these days, especially now there's absolutely zero peril of not qualifying. It's just can Kane add yet more goals against some part timers or players playing in 12th tier leagues.

He's done it again!

Watching James fills me with both joy and sadness. In 2022 there isn’t a single RB in the world I would have taken over him. Colossal defensively and extremely decisive in attack. He was the perfect fullback, whether you wanted a wing back or a more traditional RB. These days I just watch him, and I’m happy that he’s healthy again, but I just always think what could have been.

It's going to be interesting to see how Tuchel permutates between Saka, Palmer, Foden, Bellingham, and Rashford for the three slots behind Kane.

Rashford has had a few of those. Pass clearly not on but he plays it an inevitably gives it away.

That was good from Eze. Hope to see Gibbs-White come on to get some minutes.

Eze doing in about 5 minutes what Rashford has been trying to do for nearly 2 full games.

Do we need to see Walker and Hendo now? 3-0 up, can we not have a look at MGW instead?

James and probably Rogers the standouts from that I think for me. Rice, Konsa, MLS, Kane all decent again and nice impact from the bench for Eze.

I think Saka and Bellingham are pretty nailed on and don’t see how Palmer or Foden can start since neither play off the left. I would have Palmer as the first sub to make an impact on the game.

LW could be anyone from Eze, Rashford, Gordon, Rogers etc
