Funny enough, i was cleaning up my iTunes library on Sunday and came across all my Eminem albums that i haven't listened to in years. They're all brilliant, especially the Marshall Mathers LP.
I can't stand Eminem, he is a cnut.

Eminem has a great lyrical style - his first couple of albums were great with the genius beats from DrDre matching his flow but then he became a megastar and disappeared up his own arse

He has a new CD that should be coming out either in December or January. Even if he signed a shitty record deal he still has his own label that had 50 cent and D12. He also released the 8 mile soundtrack under his label which I am sure made him a lot of money. Eminem also has his own Sirius radio station where he I am sure he gets paid pretty nicely

You don't have to like him as a person to accept that he is talented, although he can be quite funny in interviews and comes across quite well. I think as soon as he started to produce, his CDs got progressively worse. He is not a good producer. Amazing rapper though, whether you like hip hop or not you can appreciate that.
A lot of his songs that he produces sound very similar if you ask me. Hopefully now that he has been producing for other people he will start to improve.

I haven't listened to his albums past the Marshal Mathers LP. I think he's class though, the Slim Shady EP is brilliant.
The Slim Shady LP and Marshal Mathers LP were brilliant. MMLP was probably the best rap album to come out so far this decade. The Eminem Show and Encore(I fecking loved the song "Encore" Dre's verse is unreal) were decent but he had lost his originality by then. I enjoyed his songs from 8 Mile though.

He's genius
When he wants to be he's a brilliant lyric-writer. Lose Yourself is probably my favourite song of all time, and Stan is up there as well. Unfortunately, 90% of his songs are commercialised trash that he pumps out to create controversy and make himself look cool to the teeny-boppers.

I liked him at first. Then it just got to be the same shit over and over again. We get it, your mom's a whore and you don't get on with your wife.
He's one of my all-time favourite artists. I saw him at Punchestown and he was amazing, he had the 60,000 strong crowd going mental the whole time. My favourite song of his is Stan, the lyrics in it are just genius. The Slim Shady LP and The Marshall Mathers LP are two the best albums I've heard. The Eminem Show was good and Encore was good but not as good the previous ones. I also liked some stuff he did with D12 as well, especially D12 World, great album it was.
He's a good lyricist, always has been, but he is not a hip-hop genius. No fecking way. He went completely mainstream, and stopped writing proper hiphop tracks.
