You love to see it. Trump hasn't event taken office and they're ripping at each other.
I think what we are already seeing is a move to own the Republican Party / American Right post Trump.
It seems incredible to say it as he hasn’t even taken office yet but as he’s not that many years from death and this is his last term, there’s already a power struggle to take ownership of the party.
Libertarian tech bros that want de-regulation and cheap workforce vs racist bigots that want an all white America going head to head to own the party.
I actually think Trump will side with the libertarian tech bros because that’s where the money is for him. Trump won’t give a feck about those that voted for him as he knows they will cheer whatever he does anyway and he no longer needs their vote. This is going to be like his first term on steroids with him enriching himself at every step with zero checks and balances and zero concern over losing votes.

Yeah there’s such a huge conflict of interests here. Trumps whole platform is to push back against globalisation and put America first. The exact opposite of what tech bros want. I reckon Trump will side with the America first gang. At the end of the day he’s a dyed in the wool, extremely conservative boomer who genuinely believes America was better before globalisation. I don’t think Musk has been anything other than a useful idiot to get him into power.

I believe that's where he'll side too. Heritage Foundation and the old tea party movement are a bit more his crowd at his age. The tech bros-crypto gang are too much over the place for him. Musk is going to be replaced sooner than later.
