So happy and relieved. Take care and get well soon, Edwin.
Great news. They must be one of the luckiest couples in the world. Both of them survived a brain hemorrhage.
Sure if you look at it like that. There's nothing to do about brain haemorrhages really but reacting to them is something that we can do and roughly 2 our of 3 die and that's in the US with easy access to ambulances and lots of hospitals. I imagine worldwide survival rate odds are worse.Very lucky for them to both survive a brain haemorrhage but also very unlucky to both experience them in the first place!
Indeed, great news!Amazing to see, I have been thinking about this a lot actually, one of my favourite ever players. They look great
Yes please. Mods? Can we change the thread title?
There’s an article on the 442 website that covers this. Saying that I could only think of Dino Zoff before I read it so yeah I agree really. Why do goalkeepers never become managers? So much established authority. VDS could have been a monstrous bench presence.
I guess there’s just a lot less of them. Nuno was a keeper thoughWhy do goalkeepers never become managers? So much established authority. VDS could have been a monstrous bench presence.
One of the mysteries of football. It’s great to see him doing so well after his health scare. It’s crazy to think he was at Fulham when he was still a world class goalkeeper.
One of the mysteries of football.
Not a mystery. Simply a case of him buying into a owners supposed vision, and a contract that matched it. Muhammed Al-Fayed bought them, they went through the leagues paying big wages to the likes of Lee Clark and Peter Beardsley and Kevin Keegan, then Al-Fayed set up a project that he was going to make Fulham the "Manchester United of the South." Of course, he failed miserably, but they paid him more than he was on a Juventus. One of the mysteries of football.
