Are we going to have this thread locked as well...
Should we expect something soon re this weekend's action or they can make up their mind as and when?
While we wait, might as well enjoy this hateful lullaby
It will be. Amazed to see supporters going on about it. People will forget in a few weeks, I think everyone knew this was a cultural clash, not something malicious. Was hoping the insta shit had been forgotten. Hadn’t heard anything for a few days.
I don't dispute the need for caution when using social media. What I take issue with is your description of him being a potential troublemaker.I have spoken at lenght that we should freeze Pogba out until we can offload him somewhere. Cavani made a problem for us here. Very hard to see him escape the ban and even if he does he'll have that hanging over him anytime he plays with black teammates. He should not have made that post.
Players have a more rigorous rules to follow because they represent the club. What is good for regular person it's not ok for players. Like it or not that is the truth and we ourselves insisted that this word be classed as wrong by the league. Suarez got 8 match ban, we can hope he gets less as it is not done at the game or to an opponent but still the word has been declared offensive by the PL already.
Bit of an overreaction this mate. I’m sure his teammates don’t care. Literally nobody cares. Everybody understands. The only people making a big deal out of this are the people who love drama.I have spoken at lenght that we should freeze Pogba out until we can offload him somewhere. Cavani made a problem for us here. Very hard to see him escape the ban and even if he does he'll have that hanging over him anytime he plays with black teammates. He should not have made that post.

City safe then. We need him for thatMonday is the latest he can be charged.
So he will be free to play the next two PL games.
I’m assuming there are different time limits depending on the nature of the issue? I seem to remember Dier’s case taking months.Monday is the latest he can be charged.

It's an inflammatory way to describe an error of judgement, whereby you are implying it was a deliberate act on his behalf. Just admit you could have chosen your words better, like Cavani.

Are you Ighalo? What can I say. I expected trouble when the signing was announced and the trouble we got.

You're saying that you predicted Cavani being a troublemaker? What can I say. I expected trouble when the signing was announced and the trouble we got.
Suarez got 8 match ban for this cultural clash. Us getting away with it would make everyone say we get preferential treatment, not just Liverpool fans.

Either : a) you have no clue about why Suarez was really banned; b) you don't understand what context means ; c) you are just trying to be 'woke'; d) you are just a troll. The two situations have literally nothing in common. But here you go, with the nonsense you're spouting, and with your slippery slope argument that you pulled out of thin air in your other post.
What the hell is this weird way of thinking. His teammates don't care and know that this has been blown out of proportion by everyone who does not have better things to do that to police how other cultures should talk/act and so on, because guess what, they are not stupid.
Piara Powar, executive director of Football Against Racism in Europe (Fare), believes the governing body's decision is a landmark judgement.
He told BBC Radio 5 live: "This is the first time we have seen an insight into what is said between players on the pitch, and what may have been commonplace between players in the past.
"This is a big moment and I would say that the FA have dealt with this in the right way. They have taken their time and taken independent advice.
"No one takes any pleasure from seeing him found guilty like this but it is an interesting judgement."
Powar said Fare has taken advice on the abusive word used by Suarez and the context of similar words in South American dialect.
He added: "If it is used in a friendly fashion then it is acceptable, it turns immediately to a hostile meaning if it is used as an offensive word.
"Taking the context of that game, it is difficult to see how he would have used it in a friendly way."
Do you even read what you quote?I think most people including me have had no idea of the specifics around why Suarez was banned. I've just assumed it was because he used the N-word in a hostile context as opposed to what Cavani did here, but that was that. I think it's safe to say most football fans will be coming from the same place and it's a tough job to explain to them exactly what the differences are between what We / Evra claim Suarez did and what Cavani did.
I think it's one of those we have to live with, you can argue all day with individual forum posts but there will be so many people who don't know the specifics that you'd just spend the entire day replying to these posters. Anyway, I'll leave this here.
Isnt it so?Ah the old "you're racist for thinking it's racist" argument. Always a good laugh.
Is my analogy still bad? Absolutely ridiculous that you not only wrote off a class player like Cavani before he even touched a ball but you also made it look like he`s somehow worse than Choupo fecking Moting
You're saying that you predicted Cavani being a troublemaker?
feck me, no he didn’t.
How many times do shit posters need telling?

I am not saying it is the same context, you are ignoring what I said to suit your argument. The word has been declared a no no word for FA and the PL. You might not like it but it is a no no word now. We sorta campaigned to get it included and now one of our own is ignoring it and saying whatever he wants.
I never said he should get 8 match ban but to get away with it completey is also unfair. We as a club should have ban him for 2 games ourselves and hope FA agrees it is a punishment enough, with him of course apologizing. This way we can get him banned for longer and that's not beneficial to us. Troublemkaer and only joined the club. Why can't he just leave twitter and instagram for people who are not professional strikers? He'll have plenty of time to do whatever he wants once he is 35 year old and retired ffs
Can you at least keep your terrible posts to the correct thread? This thread is about his performances. If it gets bumped we’ll assume there’s an update on his injury. Instead we’re faced with this drivel. Not good.

To be fair. This thread is about Cavani general at Manchester United not about Cavani performance. Player’s performance is in player’s performance. Yeah this forum is unorganised.
have you reread what you’ve written? What utter drivel.
Here's a little experiment for you. Go on to Spotify and search for the name he used in his tweet, then tell me what the results are. What can I say. I expected trouble when the signing was announced and the trouble we got.
