Pretty much invisible and we didn't create anything in the box where he comes alive.
There is no correlation. Haaland is not the same style at all. He is built for PL.A lot of our fans are in for a rude awakening thinking Haaland will come here and score 30 goals. Cavani has some of the best movement and anticipation of all forwards in Europe and he's feeding off of scraps.

Yes, there is - being built for the PL doesn't mean anything in isolation. Haaland is a very good and physicslly gifted player and is brilliant at converting the half chances that other strikers don't... but that is where the problem lies. How many half chances do our strikers get? It doesn't matter if it's Cavani, Martial or Greenwood, whoever's up top is feeding off of scraps. There is no correlation. Another disappointing performance. Is our attack better with him in it
It’s really that simple.
The answer is yes
I don’t think anyone is saying he’s going to put up aguero figures, or control games like Henry
He’s come in and wants to win every game he plays
His link up play is good, his work rate is class, his movement is class, his commitment is class. But yer let’s play down one of the only bright sparks of our attack
Rooney,Zlatan,Lukaku,Martial and now Cavani can’t all be bad
We just have no plan b and create nothing when teams sit deep
No plan b,no change of system
We just keep doing the same thing
Poor poor coaching and management

Yeah I don't don't he'd do better than Cavani currently is. I just think he'd be coming here with the expectation of 30+ goals a season, I don't see that as viable looking at our team for 3/4 of this current season.Ok, understand what you mean and can agree to some part. But one major difference is that Haaland also creates his own chances and not just great runs like Cavani. Plus we have had difficulties in converting chances. However PL defences are probably the best in the world and I think the forward get that extra third of a second in Bundesliga compared to the PL.
Hes doing this more and more, simply because he's tired of making runs in the box and being ignored whilst the others pass it amongst themselves...The team don't appear to understand what Cavani is good at. And at times he doesn't help himself by drifting out of the box to get involved in the build-up play.
Hopefully by next season, if he is still around, the team will be in harmony with Cavani.
Don’t become one of those guys Christ, count on one hand the disappointing games. Exactly what did you want him to do with the service he gotAnother disappointing performance.
He’s part of the problemIt’s not a Martial problem people.
He’s part of the problem
Giving him a new contract would be a monumental lack of ambition on United’s part.
He's not linking well with Rashford and Greenwood at all. I have said this some time ago. Where's coaching for this ? The three don't look like strikers training together.
30 goals in all competitions is not unrealistic if fit, but it is of course not guaranteed. It is always a chance to move to a new league and a new team, and the performance of the other attacking players has been poor lately, but he surely has got all the tools to be successful. I would definitely expect him to do better than Cavani.Yeah I don't don't he'd do better than Cavani currently is. That's 3 strikers now that have all looked adrift with almost every performance. Honestly, if nobody's going to score a goal, we may as well play Martial.
Cavani has been goodYep like Cavani and everyone else who’s played upfront under this manager.
AgreedHaving two wide players who dont go down the byline doesn't help.
Spot on. Don’t think it’s a coincidence the one time we looked dangerous was when Awb took on his fullback and got in behind.Having two wide players who dont go down the byline doesn't help.
Exactly and he didn't do that enough.Spot on. Don’t think it’s a coincidence the one time we looked dangerous was when Awb took on his fullback and got in behind.
Cavani has been good
Just wasn’t today
I said a few weeks ago...the media narrative around Cavani is ridiculous. He’s not scored goals for us. His inclusion in the team hasnt improved us. Our other forwards have to play as wingers when he plays....and on top of that he hasn’t played well himself. Good movement though.
Zlatan good? Or Henrik Larson good?
