So is he still a Glazers transfer or did Ole want him after all now..
Or they all had a meeting and decided Cavani is the best option for the striking department.
You'll be called "Wumminumbers" before long.
I'll be delighted if im wrong, but lets not get ahead of ourselves hey. He's still a way off.
He was (gasp!), a plan B.
Credit to everyone involved, I suppose.
Rooney became a better goalscorer and his game become more reserved as he got older. That happens to pretty much every striker. He never developed Cavani's instincts in the box and from a very early age he was a different player in the box than Martial. He didn't become like van Nistelrooy while playing alongside him. He just got better at what he was naturally good at.
Eh? Has to be messi and RonaldoHmmm Lewandowski and Kane (I'm really struggling to think of another other than Lewandowski, maybe Rooney then) ? If not including Messi and Ronaldo.
Suarez I would also guess but I don't think you would include his Ajax goals if it's only top 5.
Tbf Rooney was a more complete forward than Martial. At similar age, his footballing IQ and application on the pitch far exceeds Martial.Rooney did. It's certainly possible, it definitely depends on the player though, their drive, their ability to learn.
From what I remember he got into exceptional positions from his breakthrough season alongside Suárez and Sturridge, he was just even more profligate then and spent more time trying to set up the more accomplished finishers alongside him.
Jota was a plan B for Liverpool. It happens all the time, it’s just another thing some of our fans jump on to criticise the club and the manager.
I'm getting the t-shirts printed. His insta story currently says “Gracias negrito” to one of his friends congratulating him... Imagine the FA will be all over this now.

Yeah, him or maybe the other one. But definitely him.If I were to choose between him and Mason, it would have to be Mason. Him and Martial it would be him.
Criticising the manager for something he never did. Insane.Jota was a plan B for Liverpool. It happens all the time, it’s just another thing some of our fans jump on to criticise the club and the manager.

fact is we signed him. Everything else is agenda or bollox.
I desperately wanted Sancho, looks like I was completely wrong and Woody made a brilliant decision under unprecedented fan pressure not to sign him.The criticism wasn’t at Ole though, the club and Ed made this signing according to the posters who were so against it. And they “let Ole down”.
Nutters just cause they didn’t get their shiny new Sancho for 100+ million quid.

Diving headers are few and far between these days with the death of quality pure strikers. Cavani scores two in one half.
I'd let the beautiful bastard shag my missus, want the kids to have goatees and flowing locks
I'd like to praise Woodward and the scouting team for their strategic master class, unearthing this unknown gem in the last minute of the transfer window.Great Woodward signing
