Arsenals transfer policy is truly mind boggling though. They've sold Clichy. Gibbs is had injury problems for most of his career, so who exactly do they have playing in the right/left back slots besides Sagna (and Gibbs when he's fit)?
Eboue's a nutter, and he's never been the best player in the world...but he's hardly the worst choice given he can play both left/right fullback as well as backup winger as well.
