There wasn't enough traffic to keep it. We have specific forums for things like the ashes and the world cup but in between there is now bugger all. So we will carry on having special forums for special events and then back the posts into the Other Sports forum. Seems sensibe to me and it isn't liek cricket will be swamped by Yank scrum ball or whatever because there are even fewer posts on those "sports".
This is clearly because the great Indian cricket team is on a comeback trail and is gonna squash all before them. Next in line are Ireland and England.
