ok, so everyone knows how i feel about the culling of The Pavilion by now.

but what do you think?

the point that was made to me was, now the World Cup is over, a seperate cricket forum is no longer needed.

as if the World Cup has anything to do with cricket.

it's the day before the summer Test season starts and we are cruelly tossed in amongst the hurlers and the cheese rollers.

make your stand here...if you're arsed.

Seconded. Cricket is clearly the unofficial second best sport of the Caf

On a side note, many should stop thinking about the "Gentleman's game" bit as sexist, if that has had any bearing on issues

I feel your pain GG.

It was very popular with the make up of our globalised poster make up - besides cricket will now be the main sports in the UK with the football season ending on Saturday.

Yes Scousers it ends on Saturday...

cricket is just another sport, therefore stick it with the other sports. All you have to do is make a new thread for each match or whatever.
Also cricket is as boring as hell

Have you nothing better to do GB, like looking for Revelzs' aliases? ;)

So, how many votes for the cricket forum?

Not enough it seems.

Shame Sults ;)

Didn't you get the memo regarding time limits on E petitions?

No? Shame GG ;)

Most of our Asian posters are sleeping...

We have an India v. England series this summer.

Bah, get over it. Just post in the Other Sports forum, is it really that painful?!

This is a Manchester United forum. You wanna talk cricket, go to a cricket forum

Frankly my dear I don't give a damn! :)

i want the criquet forum back

and i want it fecking now!!!!!!!!!

where else can i say "everyone posting in this thread is gay" knowing i'm 100 percent right?

Bring back the cricket forum i say aswell! It's a close second to Football for me.

I love my cricket, am a member of Lancs and a prolific contributor to the World Cup and especially Ashes forums. I feel my position comes from a credible standpoint therefore, not just some prat who doesn't like cricket taking a pop

I DON'T think there should be a 'pavillion'. It infuriated me when I first came to the caf, tucked away in the lurky depths of the sports forum. When you take away cricket and football from a sports forum, there is very little else to talk about, and I think it shows. Therefore I have no problem with sport and the pavillion merging to make one decent forum. I think during an Ashes series or a World Cup tournament, it justifies it's own forum - but a visable one on the main navigation page. But this isn't the case at the moment, and I think todays decision was justified. Anyone who doesn't now post in the sport forum about cricket is frankly fully up their own arses, in my humble opinion

point well made, oh bearded and wise one. :p

It's the start of the season! So surely a cricket forum is now justified more than ever! And on another point regarding Lancashire, what happened with Kabir Ali the other day!

:D

Can we change the name of the forum from "other sport" to something which reflects cricket being the dominant sport in that forum, which it clearly is. ;)

Start of the season was about a month ago, but you wouldn't know it looking in the pavillion would you?!

What's happened to Lancs full stop. No play today, pissed it down in Manc constantly. Anyone who's interested who lives in Manc, and I missed it, on channel M there is supposedly a new program dedicated to the side

They have done what? When did this happen?

The World Cup hAd its own section which was remoVed once the tournament was over. Why touch the sandard year round Cricket forum?

There were 30+ members posting in the ODI series threads after The Ashes. And that was a minor event all things considered.

WHAT DO WE WANT? THE PAVILION! WHEN DO WE WNAT IT? NOW!!
