Any of them apart from berahino would make us better.

Lacazette I think is the best right now, but Dybala could turn out to be the best of them all with better players around him.

Either way I wouldn't be disappointed with any of those options, and I think it's something we really need.

Lacazette would be my choice as he seems to have the physical attributes necessary for England and is a well rounded striker who can also play as a wide forward. Dybala looks like a bit of a muppet and I think Vietto will end up staying in Spain. Berahino is too limited for what a big club needs from a striker and I would prefer a worker like Ings that would offer more to the team than him.

I've only really seen enough of Vietto and Berahino to judge properly. So...I'd say Vietto if I had my choice of a signing for Liverpool. Cracking player.

Apparently not.

On topic - We need better than Berahino. Someone fitter, happier and more productive.

Ha ha! in 10 years of using this name you are the first person to get it. Amazing.

Agree on Berahino though, despite thinking hes better than Wilson.

Vietto is my absolute dream signing. His movement is incredible. Would take Laccazette too. Berahino is very average for me.

I've only seen Vietto and Berahino regularly, and Vietto is heads and shoulders above Berahino IMO. Can't really comment on Dybala as I've seen him play for 30 minutes this season. Haven't seen much of Lacazette either this season either, but he did impress me in the French youth matches a few years back.

Where's the Danny Ings option?
I hope you're having a laugh given he's linked to Liverpool and Spurs? He's miles below all those players.

The pick of the bunch is Vietto for me, and from what I've seen of him it's easy. That said, I haven't really seen Lacazette but Vietto is brilliant. He's got great movement, can finish with either foot or his head, can play out wide, works hard and links up well.

I really like that Vietto kid, but I'll take any of them, except Berahino, of course, I have no idea why is he even an option here.

Lacazette is the most finished product, he's already scoring goals regularly. Vietto would be my next option since he's also scored a few, he's more like the classic type of striker. Dybala is the dribbling type.

I think people are underrating Berahinho. He's actually very good, a proper finisher with good pace. I would take him as second choice, with my first being Dybala because he's so damn silky.

Agreed and I don't think you can overlook how two footed he is, which makes him hella versatile across that front line.

yeah - on a free (ok some development compo) he is undoubtedly the best value even if possibly not the best of them - but with rooney, rvp, wilson (and possibly hernandez to return) do we need to be spending millions on somebody who will possibly sit on the bench most games anyway.

Id be very happy with ings and if it does not work out then we can almost certainly sell him for a decent profit in a couple of years.

This went well.

I don't think it's just about the value. I reckon he's a genuinely good player. Intelligent, good with both feet, can finish and strong on the ball.

He might surprise a few people next season.

He is a great finisher... I quoted some work for Burnley Football Club a few weeks ago and went up to discuss some bits and bobs - after the meeting I saw the first team were training and they said feel free to stay and watch so I did. At the end of the session Ings stayed behind to do some finishing practice and some of the things he was putting away (whilst chatting and joking about) were breathtaking - whatever level he plays at if you give him the ball in and around the box he will score goals.

Im still not convinced he will ever offer the same versatility and all round play as some of the others mentioned and he does not have pace that frightens people but as a pure finisher he is right up there.

I'd love us to sign him - and the value he provides is a great boost as well.

If we are playing Rooney as a 9, then for me Dybala. Fast and skilfull, love see him play, and for me his better than Vietto.

Lacazette reminds me of the young Benzema, he's powerful and a fearce goalscorer. Berahino is like Sessegnon very good, and tons of skills, but won't be world class.

We need to be thinking long term with this buy, a player who can play wider in a front 3 now but will be able to play as the #9 when Rooney starts to fade, that should rule Ings out altogether as he can't play wide and will never be good enough to be United's main #9.

If van Gaal wanted a pacey finisher and was willing to overlook lack of versatility or all round play, he would give Hernandez another chance. I like Ings and he would be perfect for Spurs but I don't see why we would be interested as pace and finishing are his two strengths and Hernandez does better than him at both.

Crazy to think that Lacazette at only 23 has got the second highest number of goals and assists in Europe after (by quite a bit) the big two.

His goal record has just slowly been going up year by year to the point now where he is prolific. I'd by him think he would be ready.

I haven't seen a lot of Berahino so can't comment on him. Lacazette is a great all round player. Scores goals, assists, powerful & fast. Plus he can play on the left.

Dybala is like Lacazette but more of a clever player. If Lacazette is like Benzema, then Dybala is like Agüero. He's a good finisher but not (yet) a great one imo. The big plus with Dybala is his work rate. He adds a lot with his pressing & defensive work even as a striker.

Vietto is a player who can play all across the front 3. Two footed, very fast, clever with good technique & passing. He won't dominate as a 9 but will drift all over the place & create space for others.

Don't forget Mauro Icardi either. Potentially world class, his big asset is his brilliant finishing. Just a pure finisher imo. He will dominate as a 9 in the centre and will look to finish chances. A big attitude too, reminds me a little of Cantona with his arrogance. Panenka vs Napoli away in the 88th minute to level the game.

I'd be thrilled with any of them but for me Vietto and Lacazette are the best options. Mainly because both have pace and can play as a wide forward in a 3 and as a striker. Unless we change to 4-2-3-1 next season with Rooney as 10 then there isn't much point in buying Dybala or Icardi for a huge fee and then playing them out of position.

You don't think Dybala could play wide in the front 3 like Laczaette and Vietto?

None of them 3 would like to do it, tracking back isn't their game IMO.

I'd agree on Lacazette as he's a bit of a hands on hips type, but Dybala and Vietto have been bustling with energy and tracking back a lot in the games I've seen, especially Vietto.

It's a Fatal-4-Way Bah Gawd!

I'd imagine Berahino would go over with the people's elbow...

Vietto looks class, Berahino is good but weve got Wilson and havent seen the otther two. If we sell Van Persie and Falcao leaves. We could easily attempt to buy 1 of these!

If Berahino didn't have such an English name he'd be higher rated.

Only seen Lacazette and Berahino on a regular basis, but the former is definitely my favourite of the two; but I'm tempted to believe that Wilson will turn out to be a better player if he's given the chance.

Vietto reminds me of Aguero when he was younger. Wouldn't mind picking him up and giving him a go. Could develop into a quality player.
