I gave up too in the end, after about 15 minutes of the last episode. I'm usually a very patient man, but this is unrewarding as it gets. to me, the biggest sin in television is being boring and this show is precisely that, boring. not slow, just boring.

I didn't think it was that bad personally. It wasn't any good though, just a complete mediocrity with some decent acting performances and great visuals.

Definitely not if that's the case. Their strong points are similar but the show is significantly worse in other aspects.
