Well the first one was possibly the funniest movie ever made, and they are now making a sequel so what does everyone think? I always thought they could do a sequel for these charachters but have they left it too long or will it be better after such a long wait.

I'm personally looking forwrd to this one hope it doesn't disappoint.

Peter and Bobby Farrelly have been quietly developing a sequel to "Dumb and Dumber" for awhile now.

Back in October, we heard that Sean Anders and John Morris -- the comedy screenwriting duo behind "Hot Tub Time Machine" and "Mr. Popper's Penguins" -- were hard at work on a script. That was the last bit of news about the project...at least until this weekend, when Peter Farrelly dropped a Twitter-imploding bombshell in the middle of a "Three Stooges" press junket.

"We're getting set to shoot Dumb and Dumber 2 in September," the director told ComingSoon.net. "We've got Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels back."

Farrelly may have jumped the gun a little bit -- a source close to the production tells EW that the film is "moving along, but it's not greenlit yet." It's hard to imagine a green light is too far away, though -- following last week's announcement about the impending arrival of "Anchorman 2," this feels like the moment for long-awaited comedy sequels

They have been involved some great comedy movies so think I'd like to see what they can come up with.

There's something about Mary and Dumb & Dumber been my favourite comedies ever

Aye Hot Tub Time Machine was one of the biggest pieces of shit ever.

Also, Kingpin. They've gone downhill since the 90s.

The directed Kingpin but they didn't write it. They wrote and directed Me, Myself and Irene as well.

It's a love hate relationship really. Hall Pass wasn't good. Osmosis Jones had potential. All right. Same with Stuck on You. Girlfriend type of movie that one. And I hated The Heartbreak Kid.

Dumb and Dumber is great. If the number 2 is a little bit worse then it will be good.
