All the Press speculation reminds me of the bloke in my quiz team. What colour is the middle stripe on the Belgian flag? Red, black, yellow, blue , green white..." he'd blurt out. We'd choose the wrong one, and he'd say" I frigging said that". Is there any one who seriously pay any attention to any of these Transfer Gossip pages?
I believe there are certain people that have a broad idea of what's going on with a particular player but in terms of overall strategy they are guessing like everyone else. What people need to understand is that the majority of their information is coming from agents, not club representatives, and agents have their own agenda and they will leak information, whether true or false, to benefit themselves and the player.
These people are not involved in these meetings or privy to private conversations, and there aren't any senior club representatives leaking information.

Considering our through stuff at the wall and hope something sticks approach to transfers over the last decade i's suspect the media has about as much of a clue as the club. I.e. loads or idea's but no firm plans
