Disturbing Movie Scenes

This might not sound disturbing to anybody else but I find the death scene of Murphy in Robocop quite unsettling to watch. It's so fecking downright brutal and realistic, I think maybe because I watched it as a little kid it's probably scarred me for life and I still find it hard to watch even to this day.

Yeah isn't it Red Foreman who kills him too

Clarence Boddicker's gang open fire on him, blasting his arms and everything off, then the man himself blows Murphy's brains out. I kinda find it funny though the bit where the black dude says 'does it hurt, does it hurt?'.
It's just the way he says it.

there is a scene in caligula where the cesars gaurds tightly tie up a guys cock (so he cant urinate) and then forcedly funnel in like half a barrel of wine in him, the cesar than comes and slashes the guys belly with a sword...you hear a very unsettling swooosh as the wine drains out of the cut..horrific stuff

Sounds quite vicious

"ass to ass" in Requiem for a Dream.

Saying that, the entire film is fairly fecking disturbing.

I put Ellen Burstyn's characters decent down on the first page.

That film is entirely warped, yet oddly beautiful in the way it is presented. I struggled to watch it a second time, telling my girlfriend how great it is, and sitting uncomfortably through every second.

maybe not disturbing, but...

I loved the atmosphere of the whole film, but the scene some 15 minutes from the beginning, when one of the girls wakes up during the night and looks through the window...fecking hell. I knew it was coming, but still shat myself. After that I watched the scene again and it scared the shit out of me again

how is that disturbing, you don't get to see it.

I think the most disturbing part about it is not the action of what he does, but unphased and almost proud he is by it all as he is being arrested. I don't think many other actors could have pulled it off the way Norton does.
