far too away from the player to make the block on their second goal, otherwise cruised around the game without being noticed. Telles had a more eventful game and thought he was better today.

Almost fecked my phone through my telly when he gave them the ball under no pressure in the last minute of injury time. Overall he was ok, I guess. Compared to legitimate attacking fullbacks he offers absolutely nothing going forwards and his defending is decent but not exceptional. Plus he seems to have at least one or two horrific brain farts each game.

Would you start him or awb ?

That's the only relevant question right now.

Another solid game, much more complete footballer than AWB. I think people forget how young he is because he came here at 18, He's still only 22 with a lot of time to improve, if he works hard he could own the position for a decade. The year in Italy did him the world of good.

Out of Jose's signings, him and Fred look the best now.

It was more of the same really. The typical Dalot 6.5/10. The weird thing is when he first joined he looked like a player that could attack but is a risky proposition. Now he looks the opposite, a player that does feck all in the final third, in fact looks reluctant to even chance his arm and make a decisive overlap, but his defending is pretty decent.

Wtf was that pass in the last 20 seconds of the game. Of all the places he could have played it, he gave it straight back to them to counter us with so many of our players out of the game!

Not convinced by him or AWB but he's the better of the two in terms of knowing how to control a ball atleast. Whooooo.

He was shit at holding his nerve not to play Reguilon clearly onside. However, he's not wrong in his positioning. when he's defending the space against 2 pacy players. Give more space and Son would have run there himself.

I was in the very fortunate position of not carrying anything. Jesus feck that was infuriating.

Man Utd 0:1 Atletico Madrid
It is so annoying that he likes to shoot from 30-40 yards instead of trying to do anything but that.

AWB should have played. Would have been more solid at the back and won't matter much to the attacking play.

Saw people in the match thread blaming him for the goal as if he didn't have 3 men to mark

Indeed people with agendas everywhere. He was one of the best players on the pitch today, sounds like some people expect him to teleport between opponents.

Initially I thought why isn't he marking the guy closer but Maguire fecked him

Anyway we have a big issue at full back. We don't have one good one. Average at best

He wasn't primarily at fault but he should have done far, far better.

In the 10 seconds leading up to the goal he didn't once look behind him.

Had he have done, he would at minimum contested the header and probably prevented the goal.

Wan Bissaka will at least make runs out wide to stretch the opposition and give our wide players space to move infield. Dalot seems to think he is a midfielder.

Our fullbacks are awarded the most time and space on the ball because all 4 of them are pretty cack with it. Shaw’s good when he decides to play like he wants to, maybe.

Wan Bissaka at least always pushes forward and overlaps. Dalot is a bit of a myth, people have this idea of him as an attacking fullback but he rarely overlaps and his crossing is constantly poor.

Disgusting player. Zero technique. Cannot cross, has never been able to cross, no pace, can't tackle, lacks stamina, poor in the air, terrible passer.

A passenger

Indeed can barely defend and won't attack, bad combination for a fullback.

I think people just get a bit excited to see a right back with some technique after watching AWB for a few years

but yeah, he's a bit rubbish

I think Dalot massively flatters to deceive.

Although AWB looks a bit gangly and awkward on the ball I'm really not sure Dalot is any better.

I thought Dalot played reasonably well. Created Sancho's chance and 1 other key pass. 4 shots, a couple of them were ok. Had far too many players to mark for their goal. That was down to Elanga not tracking back.

Useless. Has been since he came here. Useless when he was on loan at Milan.

Laird should have stayed and played over him and AWB.

What can you do when you have 50mil RB on the bench that is useless after crossing a half line.

Why does he think he should be shooting every opportunities when he should be crossing. Its like he got his square and cross wrong way around.

The number of times he could have crossed it but keeps shooting.

Plays far far too narrow when we have the ball.

was driving me mental that, him thinking he was some kind of playmaker. What the feck was RR doing instructing him to do that/not telling him to stop it

The Andreas Pereira of right-backs - not really good at anything but fooling people with some tricks once in a while. Arrogant, thinks he's better than he is, constantly makes the wrong decision, and shoots from all angles. A nothing player, just like Pereira. Sums up where we are and our recruitment in the past ten years.

Why did he shoot so much? As if he had the striking technique of Scholes! So infuriating.
