Signed Nolito, a 29 year old winger who played for Barcelona under him and averted a return to his former club to play again for him eventhough was sold originally due to lack of minutes.

I fully realize many United fans have a proper bit of envy of Pep & their city rivals - Pep's success will be measured both on & off the pitch and success he is sure to have

Coman, Costa, Gaudino & Kimmich (I owe him everything) all say hallo

Read what any Bayern player, including Kroos who eventually left during his time, learned from Pep - they rave about how they learned more about the game than ever before. Bernat & Thiago are two young players who grew under Pep. Boateng was a shadow of the player he is now. Alaba, Neuer & Lahm are more complete players, Muller & Lewie's highest production are under Pep and Rafinha went from a nonfactor to great importance in Bayern's defense. Javi, Ribery & Badstuber and to some extent Robben all were simply injured too much. Nearly every match Bayern were involved in, they were the most dominant attacking side on the pitch with tremendous versatility in their game like no other club. Their offensive statistics even bested those of Barcelona. We'll see how much youth promotion & development Ancelotti & others after will breed

Don't need to be a fan but certainly commands respect

It's like saying Jose promoted Robben, Hazard, Willian and few others.

Starts about promoting youth and then go on and on about some senior players.

Are you by any chance AndersonIsGod on Boards.ie?

I doubt many United fans can say much against Pep. It was absolutely amazing what he did at Barca and he's continued to win at Bayern.
But the previous poster was replying to your dig at Mourinho's supposed lack of promoting youth and responded saying Pep didn't exactly play many youth players at his time at Bayern bar maybe Coman, Kimmich and a few others. Your comments about how Pep improved all the older players, is irrelevant to the point on promoting youth.
And let's be honest Pep has managed Barca and Bayern so far in his career. Barca in the 2000's had an influx of top, top players coming out of their youth team, while German football are producing among the best young players in the world right now, with Bayern having many of those players. So to bash Mourinho and gloat about Pep is absurd. Especially considering the decent number of players Mourinho has infact promoted (many from his Porto days, where he won the champions league).

Payet to United  I have heard it all now. Would cost far too much to even consider it. Also that would mean the end for Wayne, so not happening.
