I'm shaking with excitement

The Essex Chronicle? That's basically the only media source I trust.
As seen in the CE Forum's Daily Mail thread. Jippy usually posts their front-page stories like 'Hedgehog invasion strikes terror into Residents'.

One of many sources reporting it - good to have the local angle as well. Just triangulating the sources.

I haven't even posted the Twitter stuff - loads on there as well from verified accounts with lots of followers.

'Flying ants startle allotment owners...oh, and Man Utd want Payet'

Doesn't make sense after signing Micki.

Poyet should make a move now. There's no more time for him to wait. If he wants to play for a bigger club and try his wings he will need to make that move and I'm sure there are clubs willing to take a chance.

As good a player as he is I can't see it. We'd basically be putting so much pressure on Mourinho to win the league in his 1st season with the group.

He'd be another player on upwards of £150,000 a week, with the huge money Pogba, Mikhi, Ibra and smaller money Bailly have added to the wage bill we'd be looking at £1m a week on top of our already high wage bill. I can't see that happening unless we're clearing off some of the high earning low output players in our squad.

"Manchester United are considering a shock bid for West Ham midfielder Dimitri Payet, according to France Football." (Sky)
Yes now go and find where France Football actually said that now. Hint see the last twitter post in this thread

If true, Mou's track record on developing youth should continue to be safe & secure

Pep signed Nolito, 29 year old winger. Won the league before the league even started but barely promoted anyone at Bayern.

Pep fan boys

I wont believe it until it's in the Walford gazette. Next!

Don't expect us to go for him presuming Pogba comes, but he'd be a terrific player to get nevertheless.

More likely to be an alternative to Pogba, with that deal reportedly stalling.
As an alternative to a box to box midfielder, we're going to move for a winger/CAM? Makes no sense.
But on the topic of Payet, I can't see there being any truth in this. Especially considering West Ham would want £50m+ for a 29yo, it just wouldn't make much sense for United or West Ham, considering they wouldn't be able to find a replacement half as good.

Signed Nolito, a 29 year old winger who played for Barcelona under him and averted a return to his former club to play again for him eventhough was sold originally due to lack of minutes.

I fully realize many United fans have a proper bit of envy of Pep & their city rivals - Pep's success will be measured both on & off the pitch and success he is sure to have

Coman, Costa, Gaudino & Kimmich (I owe him everything) all say hallo

Read what any Bayern player, including Kroos who eventually left during his time, learned from Pep - they rave about how they learned more about the game than ever before. Bernat & Thiago are two young players who grew under Pep. Boateng was a shadow of the player he is now. Alaba, Neuer & Lahm are more complete players, Muller & Lewie's highest production are under Pep and Rafinha went from a nonfactor to great importance in Bayern's defense. Javi, Ribery & Badstuber and to some extent Robben all were simply injured too much. Nearly every match Bayern were involved in, they were the most dominant attacking side on the pitch with tremendous versatility in their game like no other club. Their offensive statistics even bested those of Barcelona. We'll see how much youth promotion & development Ancelotti & others after will breed

Don't need to be a fan but certainly commands respect
