1 = AWESOME spawned lots of clones. ( under siege being a prime example)
2 = good film but not on a par with the 1st one
3 = great film
4 = very enjoyable but the jet fighter scene and the final scene almost ruined the whole film for me.

You have made me want to watch them now. Love these films all are pretty decent. Favourite would be Die hard with avengance, then the 1st, 4th and then 2nd. But all are pretty decent compared with some of the tripe produced nowadays.

I know. McClane shot a man who had a gun at his head by shooting himself through his own shoulder to shoot him. He blew up a plane full of terrorists by setting light to a trail of fuel. He threw Alan Rickman out of the window of high-rise building. He ran around New York City with Samuel L. Jackson. I mean, you can't beat that. You just can't.

1 is the second best action movie ever made after Aliens. 3 is awesome too, one of my favourite films and miles better than the second film.

2 is alright but nothing special, 4 wasn't as terrible as I thought it would be, it was a decent film.

4 imo was one of the worst films i've seen in many a year. It was stupid bollocks like something out of a crap computer game. To say I was disappointed was an understatement. I thought it was shit.

Having said that, Die Hard is probably my most watched film. 3 was classic, brilliant scenes all the way through the film. 2 was enjoyable but the pace slowed down a little bit in the middle. Good twist with the SWAT/Marines however.

Great movie, and impressive special effects even for today. Hard to believe it was released a decade ago.
